I heard of Positano a long time ago and was waiting for my trip to go. I tell you, my friends and I just talked about ordering extra next time because it was so good. I had a gluten-free crust; I loved the crispiness, and the tomato sauce was perfect—not acidic or heavy. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza with a regular crust, and she loved it too. Wow! Just when I thought all restaurants were declining, this one blew me away. Our server was very attentive, on top of things, friendly, and very accommodating. He knew the answers to all our questions and confirmed how they make their gluten-free entrees so we can safely bring our friend with us next time who has celiac's. The food came out hot, not greasy, and so, so good! The beer cheese was delicious along with the fresh and warm tortilla chips. The fish and chips were delicious. The patty melt was perfectly cooked, tasty, not too salty, and didn't make the bread soggy! Can't say enough good things about this place. We'll definitely be back, despite being in the heart of DeLand, which I prefer not to stop in.
