Went here because are in town for doctors appointments. The staff is friendly and attentive. When ordering a gluten free sandwich, the cashier turned to the kitchen staff and notified them of allergy. The staff acknowledged. We came back twice today and had great experiences both times. Wow. Is all I can say. I reached out over Facebook messenger and the owner offered me a refund. I didn’t ask for one, and the best I’d hoped for is maybe a sandwich on a different day or a partial refund. It was she who offered a refund straight out.

And then she demanded I bring back the food. “new policy”, she says. I tell her we had bitten into everything. She said it was fine. She then starts talking about how she’s in an abusive nightmare- sounding situation, one I won’t mention here, as it’s not my story to tell. But she gives it as a reason as to why things aren’t going well for her. It’s awful, and I wished her the best with it.
So I do bring the food as she asked, after telling her we had eaten some.
I walk in and I hear a loud phone conversation in the back over speakerphone with none other than the owner calling me a liar and some rather nasty assumptions about me. I kind of froze on the spot. I was absolutely mortified. I didn’t know how to react. However, I decided to just shut my mouth and wait for the employee. The employee issued me a refund before I even presented what was left of the food. I mentioned to the employee that it was eaten into, I was concerned about this “new policy” the owner mentioned. I figured it was all done and dusted. The employee that was there was very courteous . Again, she already issued the refund before interacting with me. She didn’t look into the bag, and I again mentioned we had eaten into all of it. She said it was fine and that she was going to throw it all away. I decided to chalk it up to someone (the owner) having a much worse time than myself and to forgive. I had decided to delete my review here.
That was until the owner messaged me with pictures of the sandwiches that in the state that I had told her and her employee about. Partially eaten, and told both times that it was fine.
She says “ So I already refunded you…. However you both ate almost the entire sandwiches. Talk about kicking a person when she’s down.“ and then blocked me. No chances to clear the air. I hope she gets the help she needs, and gets justice where it is due. However, it’s not an excuse to treat people like this. I will be updating my star rating due to this.

$40 spent and I regret it. We came in today and the lights were off, the soda machine was warm, had no ice, but we were offered soda with our meals despite that. Sandwich boxes we upgraded to a meal with got us stale gluten free Oreos and sub par potato salad. Our sandwiches were half frozen and the gluten free bread was stale. Half of the workers were not dressed, wearing night clothes, sweatpants. I was going to ignore anppearances and hoped for at least a welcoming smile and good customer service, but that wasn’t what I got. What is going on? Where is the place we were so highly recommended?

Fazoli's has always been a favorite of our family. The breadsticks were always amazing, although I can no longer eat them, others with me enjoyed them! As we are getting older, my husband finds it harder to handle the salt and grease (which is what makes them so good), so he would blot them on a napkin. What a disappointment! We were going to head out to Exotic Thai, but thought we would instead eat at Sriracha and walk along the river. We arrived and immediately were seated at a booth. This was the ONLY impressive thing about it. We waited more than 20 minutes with our menus closed and at the end of the table to signal we were ready. I even announced it once to one of the employees. We tried to get the attention of the employees, but they kept waving us off. Finally, I got up and asked if we would be served. This got a response, but what a disappointing response. The waitress was about as condescending as they come, and she would not take any hint to change her approach. The meal was average at best and mine was missing some of the ingredients. I found myself in a position of convincing the waitress about it and even asked her to please get the menu to confirm. We were also informed that we could not do a noodle swap, even though the menu notes to inform of gluten-free needs and they would prepare the dish accordingly. The waitress said she could not communicate to the cooks because of a "language barrier." Really?! After our meal, we waited again..and waited. I got up to inform the crew that we were finished and this helped to close out our meal. We will never be back and we look forward to our next visit to Moline and eating at Exotic Thai.
