We recently had a great group dinner at Malibu. Excellent experience and fantastic food. I had the Hawaiian Ribeye, my spouse had the salmon- both delectable! Everybody in our group was happy with their choices.
Our server, Maddie S. was phenomenal! She served our large table (and many others!) with a smile! Most impressively, was her ability to get our complex orders right with the several modifications we seemed to make in our big group.
If Malibu could make any menu updates:
I would love to see a few more gluten free options on the menu, as well as some non-alcoholic spirits/mocktails. Thanks!
The workers were lovely, and the banana chocolate chip gluten free muffin had to be the best I’ve ever had. It was so moist and flavorful— I will DEFINITELY be back!!!!!
Friendly owners that support other local businesses. Delicious sweet and savory gluten free treats. Recommend the Cinnamon roll and quiche and sandwich bread and Hawaiian rolls.
It was the first time that I saw all the process of baking pizza 🍕 according to what customers need.
I loved the place, the style of baking, asking customers what they needed and add all toppings step by step!
They even have gluten free options!
They cleaned the area to make sure no gluten add to my dish! I loved their attitude and the attentive staff.
Highly recommended 👍👍👍
Food is fine, they offer a gluten free pizza and my fiancé loved it!
The service, guess it depends on your waitress, ours was Meh...
The place is lovely, family environment!
I love this place. They have a very good gluten free menu and the pasta is delicious. The restaurant is clean, staff is very attentive when I do pick up.
As someone allergic to most every breakfast food (eggs, dairy, gluten), I struggle a lot when eating at new places. Not only was I able to get gluten-free bagels (that tasted ama-zing), but also a completely vegan breakfast sandwich and an oatmilk coffee! The workers were also very fast and super friendly telling us about more GF places in town. We will definitely be going again!
SO GOOD! Tons of great gluten free options - menu is clearly marked and the staff was knowledgable with recommendations.
They even toast the bun so it stays together pretty well. Great drink options and lots of fun mocktail options as well. I had the cowboy chicken sandwich and upgraded to the truffle fries. Both were 10/10. We also ended with the chocolate flourless cake which tasted like a chocolate truffle. So yummy all around. We’ll be back!
SERVICE? Phenomenal
FOOD QUALITY? Phenomenal
FOOD TASTE? Phenomenal
They even have gluten free toast, pancakes, and waffles (although some cross contamination is inevitable, but the best part is that each waiter makes a point of explaining that to anyone ordering it gluten free) and even though it’s gluten free, IT STILL TASTES SO GOOD. I was in Bloomington for two full days and ate breakfast here both days. It was SO GOOD
Every now and then I try them out again to see if they have anything a person who is GF and vegan can eat, but no. Their vegan options are always something deep fried in gluten and they have no vegan meat substitutes.
Always delicious. Many flavors to choose from. They have a seasonal option always going on. Sometimes strawberry,blueberry..
They do offer Gluten Free. My wife likes them takes about 20 mins to receive your fresh order.
Omg this place is ahhhmazing! So chill, relaxing and the food & coffee is great! Good decaf & sugar free options for coffee. We got the bacon & cheese gallete + a gluten free cinnamon roll THEY WERE SO GOOD 💗💗
Wonderful little bakery in Bloomington just SW of campus, get there early since they often sell out :) Last time I was in town I walked over and enjoyed the best GF baked good ever, and I’m not even gluten-free! The GF Mocha Bar 💜💜 great coffee and t-shirts, too!
If you have allergies, do not eat here!! I've lived in many places and I've always trusted Red Robin for my allergy safety. In the past two weeks, this location has messed up my order twice in ways that have cast serious doubt upon their allergy protocols. Once I flagged my meal for a gluten allergy and it came out with croutons; the second time I received a delivery order with a side that I had not ordered, and which also contained gluten, despite my having flagged again a gluten allergy.
What is most concerning about these instances is that they indicate a lack of training on the part of the kitchen. It's great that they have everything labeled, and that they have the allergy marker -- they really do go further than nearly every other burger spot. But if a line cook is making a burger with a gluten free bun and then puts gluten croutons in the same container, that indicates a lack of education & protocol around food safety. To make matters worse (and what prompted me to write this review), both times, when I contacted the store about solutions (either a refund or remaking the meal, both reasonable), the managers got defensive about their allergy protocols, were not understanding/empathetic about the risk & situation, and made no effort to reassure me that it was a big deal / would not happen again.
Happy that MB had Gluten Free crust but the joy ends there. The sauce is spicy …prefer not to have a Mexican pizza. More meat on a quarter pounder at McD. Pizza was overcooked.
My friend is gluten-free and the staff totally cleaned the work station to make her sandwich. They went above and beyond to accommodate my friend. I highly recommend Jersey Mike's for the freshness of each sandwich. I will definitely go back.
Raina did great she was very prompt and on top of keeping our coffee flowing . I got the gluten free pancakes as I have to with my allergy . Tasted fine however my eggs were over cooked slightly. The worst part of the experience was our table was just a little sticky . Maybe from the night before as we came in pretty early . I will continue to come back because the gluten free pancakes taste like pancakes . And Raina seemed to be the only hostess here so forgivable offenses

!! Vegetarian & Vegan & Gluten Free Options !!
I could go on for days about how incredible this place is. I recommended here to all my coworkers and we literally have to refrain from eating here everyday.
Here’s what I order..
Yellow Curry with Tofu and extra veggies (comes with fluffy jasmine rice) and Shogo momos (pan fried) with an extra salad. GET THE SAMOSAS!!
Yellow Curry is the best I’ve ever had in my life. Not only is it sweet, savory, and filled with fresh vegetables.. it’s portioned to where l have left overs.
Momos are hand made, perfectly steamed, and not under seasoned. You can get them pan fried for an extra buck and it’s well worth it.
The salad dressing is a perfect blend of refreshing & unique plus the salad is always crisp and fresh.
Service is great and the staff is so warm and welcoming. The owner is kind and cares so much about your experience. Whether you are from town or visiting, stop by for lunch or enjoy a casual dinner. Be sure to be mindful of their hours. Big bonus is that take out is just as good as dining in.

Pretty good-tasting food. Deducting a point because the pad thai we ordered did not have any chicken in it at all that we could find. Otherwise pretty good though. Next time maybe we'll order protein-free and add our own later. Also, we are grateful for the gluten-free options; my wife is mostly gluten-intolerant, although she is not celiac.
This is a lovely little restaurant in downtown Bloomington. It's located a couple of blocks from the IU Sample Gates. The decor and art are simple but vibrant. Oldies music added some fun; some songs ya just gotta hum along to!!🎵 The menu is pretty basic, all American diner fare. Not boring-menu items have a current twist. For example, gluten free and vegan options are available. A customer favorite is the dinner plate sized pancakes. I ordered the veggie omelette. My daughter ordered 1 of everything. 2 OE eggs, toast, fried potatoes, bacon, & biscuits and gravy. We shared a pancake for dessert. She was very hungry! The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Service was fast and friendly. I also enjoy that many of the staff are Indaina University students. If you're in a chatty mood, go during a slow hour. Ask your server about school. If they're not busy, you'll have an interesting little chat. Be sure to support higher education with a nice gratuity.
Great coffee hangout on the downtown square with small handcrafted bites, a few gluten-free options, including milk alternatives. A must try high-quality coffee house.
We had some time between appointments and popped in here…and we will definitely be back! I tried iced honey nut latte and loved it - some places make it too sweet but this was great. My husband tried their cold brew and loved it.
AND they had a gluten free streusel bread too that was delicious. Made my day they had allergy friendly options!
It seemed like a slow morning there, but the staff was so attentive and seemed really happy to be there.

This chipotle is pretty clean and has outdoor seating on Bloomington's main down-town street, Kirkwood. They have vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options for all of those millennial children if need be, even.
Ended up here because Nick's was closed. Lennie's did not disappoint. Zoey provided assistiance with finding the right beverage and food. The chili and flatbread were very good. Great service and atmosphere. Gluten free and vegan options are a plus. Would recommend.
Don't go here if you like fresh sandwich rolls with healthy portions of vegetables and meats and cheeses and all the other good things that go on a sammiches! Love that they have gluten-free wrap options 👍
I highly recommend this place. It was my first time in Bloomington, Indiana, and this was my first stop. As someone with a gluten allergy, it was great to see the menu clearly listing allergens. The burger I had was hands down the best burger I've ever had. The restaurant had a charming atmosphere, especially with its holiday decorations. I will definitely be coming back soon!
We ordered their veggie pizza on the cauliflower crust (gluten free). It was quite good… hard to believe crust was cauliflower (was just like a regular wheat dough thin crust ). Would definitely order again, though a bit pricey for what you get (my reason for only 4 stars), over $20 for a medium, I could have easily ate the whole thing myself. I’ll be watching for coupons/specials.
I have to eat gluten free. I ordered choose 2, McAlister club with gluten free bread and a cup of vegetarian chili. The club sandwich was so good and the chili was good as well. Ordering was easy, the person taking my order was very nice and marked my ticket as having an allergy. Will definitely be returning.
We went specifically for dairy-free AND gluten-free pizza... which they do NOT have 🍕 but everything else was great. Gluten-free, dairy-free pasta, delicious, cheese pizza and seafood ravioli 10/10! They did make homemade chocolate milk, though, and that was great! Service was exceptional, overall a great lunch.
Great food and atmosphere. Walked in with a party of 4 during dinner rush and were able to be seated immediately. There were tables with chairs and also an area on the ground with tables where customers could eat if they removed their shoes. The carpeting and seating area seemed very authentic.
We only ordered entrees and they took around 45 minutes to come out. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed.
The food was phenomenal. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Entrees are around $15. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.
Service was pretty horrible. The waitress didn’t even greet us when we walked in she just pointed to a table. There was rice all over the floor too. I’m not sure if she just didn’t know any English or if she was rude. I have Celiac Disease and I have to be very cautious about cross contamination. I mentioned I have a gluten allergy before ordering (as I do at any restaurant) and she had absolutely no idea what I was saying. I tried translating it and it felt like she wasn’t willing to try to understand. It’s really disappointing that this server wasn’t educated on allergies. I know it’s a risk going into any restaurant that they might accidentally give me gluten but from working in a restaurant myself it’s a basic thing that restaurants need to be educated on. The food was very good and I don’t think there was any gluten in my food so that kinda makes up for it. If the manager or owner of the place sees this, I beg you to educate your workers on allergies/ allergy protocol.
So I called an inquired about if they offered gluten free. This is a normal routine before going out to eat with my wife. What was abnormal was after he replied no, an I said ok thanks, the owner said ,” I can run to the strode though!”
He not only went to the store but got the brand of bread my wife likes. I couldn’t believe it. He could’ve just said no, an I hung up like it was normal.
I myself, got the Italian. It was superb. Really ,really good! I highly recommend these guys.
It's been a while since I've eaten here, so we decided to stop. Delicious, everything tasted hot and fresh. The have several gluten free options, and kid friendly options as well.
Stopped there for a quick bite to eat and had tacos. They were fantastic! Will be going back for sure. I was not sure how well I could do Gluten Free there so went for the corn tortillas with the tacos. Seemed safe. But for GF people out there, do your research. I’m gluten free by choice so if I mess up I don’t have any noticeable symptoms.
But the tacos were yummy!
First and foremost our server was Emma was a bad ass! She was prompt, polite and kind. Since it was our first time in she walked us through the menu and helped with recommendations.
My husband and I went with their smaller burger option - he got an original bub burger and I added bacon and an egg. I will say, I found it interesting that the bacon was chopped on topped under the cheese vs bacon strips. The burger was good, nothing too fancy in taste, seemed under seasoned, but it was good. The star of the show in both of our opinions were the cole slaw and the loaded potato salad. Those sides were straight full of flavor! The slaw is a crunchy, chopped slaw that is dairy free, not too heavy on vinegar! The potato salad, I don’t know what made it so damn good but it was fresh, creamy, the potatoes were perfect! While I appreciate that they offer gluten free buns, it was a bummer that the fries aren’t gluten free.
We did get our food pretty quickly which is nice seeing as it was right at lunch time, and I appreciated that they had uno cards at each table to keep you entertained vs just sitting on your phone.
