This place is always great, no matter what you order! I love that they have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options- and they are actually really good!! The prices are good as well! Some places really overcharge for the vegan options but they don’t.
Having a gluten allergy is sometimes a problem in picking out a restaurant with gluten-free options on the menu. Precinct 10 is more than accommodating. The short rib and scallops rosoto are 2 of my go-to meals.
I went here twice this holiday season to enjoy the decor and Christmas spirit! The food was good each time, someone in our party has a gluten allergy and the gluten free pasta was one of the best she’s tried! Garlic knots were doughy and undercooked but waitress was kind about it and took them off the bill. The rest of the food was delicious each time. Only complaint I have is the drinks, first time I went we ordered one of the drink specials and no one enjoyed them. 2nd time tried my go to drink and was disappointed. Not sure if it’s because they’re so busy? But the bartender could use some help or a lesson, not very good drinks
Food (fish sandwich) was better than expected. They were good about a gluten free option for lunch.
My biggest complaint would be having people seated right next to you when the whole dining room is open.
A little disappointed. I heard good things about this place. I have celiac disease and they were very accomidating. The portions are large, the service was great. The food was not worth the money. My wife had lamb, and I had steak. The lamb was good but very fatty and drenched in gravy, so you couldn't taste lamb, and the steak was overcooked dry and also very fatty. I'm not sure if I would try again.

..Denly Gardens Old World Pizza is a beloved, long-standing pizzeria located at 25 Lake St E, Weymouth, MA 02189. Established in 1933, it’s a South Shore institution known for its thin-crust pizza and nostalgic, old-school Italian-American vibe. Here’s a comprehensive look at what makes Denly Gardens special, based on available information and reviews.

Payment: Cash only (no credit cards, so come prepared)
Operating Since: 1933, making it one of the oldest pizzerias in the area
Ambiance: A step back in time with a cozy, neighborhood feel. Reviews describe it as a "hidden gem" with a retro atmosphere, complete with classic music and a welcoming, family-like vibe. The owner, often referred to as "Dickie," is known to chat with customers, adding to the homey experience.
Menu and Food Highlights
Denly Gardens specializes in thin-crust pizza, which is the star of the show, but they also offer other Italian-American dishes. Key highlights include:
Pizza:
Style: Ultra-thin crust, often described as so thin "you can read a newspaper through it." It’s greasy, floppy, and packed with flavor, with a distinctive taste that sets it apart.
Toppings: Classic options like cheese, basil/tomato, and various meats. A large 3-topping pizza is around $20, offering great value.
Gluten-Free Options: They offer gluten-free pizza and pasta, which have received positive feedback from the celiac community for taste and safety, though the facility is not dedicated gluten-free, so cross-contamination is a risk. Reviews praise the gluten-free crust for being delicious, unlike some lackluster alternatives.
Ratings: Pizza reviews on One Bite (onebite.app) range from 7.8 to 8.7, with some calling it a "godfather pizza legend" for its unique flavor and crispiness when eaten fresh. However, the crust can get soggy in takeout boxes, slightly lowering scores for structure.
Notable Review: Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy reviewed Denly Gardens in January 2024, highlighting its classic appeal.
Other Menu Items:
Appetizers: Buffalo chicken tenders (fresh, hearty, not overly spicy) and Portabella Mushroom Ravioli with a fresh stewed tomato sauce are standout dishes.
Salads: The Caprese salad has mixed reviews—some received dried tomatoes instead of fresh slices, missing basil.
Bread and Meatballs: Fresh bread is described as some of the best, and meatballs are a hit.
Colossal Shrimp: Noted as a highlight for seafood lovers.
Service: Excellent, friendly, and fast, with a staff that makes you feel like a regular. The owner’s personal touch adds to the charm. Takeout is popular, with a high volume of orders indicating strong local loyalty.
Atmosphere: The interior is described as a nostalgic throwback, though some reviews note sticky tables and dated decor, which may not appeal to everyone. It’s a place where locals feel at home, but newcomers might feel slightly out of place initially.
Parking: Limited parking lot space; street parking is an option.
Crowd: Busy, especially for takeout, reflecting its popularity. It’s a local favorite, with some customers ordering weekly.
Reviews and Reputation
Decided to stop in while driving by and everything was amazing! Food came out very quick and you could tell it was fresh, homemade and seasoned perfectly. Veggie omelette was stuffed full and delicious. Gluten free bread options and the portions are generous. Hash is home made and on the thicker side with onions mixed in but had good flavor. Coffee was also great. Our server was very friendly. She checked on us frequently and was very accomodating to our diet/health restrictions. Prices are to be expected for the area and the quality food you’re eating. They also have a full bar that we can’t wait try! 10/10 experience.
I eloped and they did a cute little gluten free cake for my husband and I, with less than a week's notice!! It was DELICIOUS. It was not decorated using the colors I had asked for, which at first really threw/upset me- I wanted just simple all white flowers, but somehow got hot pink flowers. The taste made up for it. Was seriously unbelievably good. Will use them for all special occasion cakes going forward
Such a hidden gem. We have never had a bad meal here! The food is SO GOOD. They even do a monthly curated seasonal specials menu. Seasonal, fresh, delish food here. We love the classics - garlic naan, Chicken Tika Masala, samosas. The chicken pakora is insanely good- I think gluten free - it’s this delicious chick pea super light breading and subtle spices. Like the best Indian chicken finger- but not heavy batter or fry. We also love the “sag aloo” which is the spinach with potato dish. The lamb dishes are tasty too. The soups are phenomenal! If they have a soup on the special menu definitely order it. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Always respectful and welcoming. Food comes out fast too. We come for date night but it’s definitely big & casual enough to be family or larger party friendly. We absolutely love Tumeric House Weymouth. Give it a try- you’ll be so glad you did!
