We don't live in the area and we make special trips here when the craving strikes. I have Celiac disease and their gluten free buns are amazing. 😍 It's sometimes hard to find good restaurants to eat at with having Celiac disease.
Also, their fries -both regular and sweet potatoes are so delicious.

This is our new best place to go in Tecumseh. We first came during the pandemic and it was ok. This time around one of our friends is gluten free and she was delighted with the extensive gluten free menu. The waitress was so helpful with suggestions. She was able to get my friend a regular menu option and make it gluten free. What we appreciated was the sense that this was ok and even welcomed. And my regular breakfast pizza was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

My partner and I visited The British Pantry Tea Garden Cafe due to recommendation. How come you find the most interesting places in small towns.
I ordered The Cottage Pie. Sort of a Shepard pie. It was out of this world . He ordered The Lava Cake & The Apple Slaw. Due to the fact of practicing Gluten-free. The menu also offered other alternatives for Gluten-free options.
It was so nice to see him actually eatinga dessert.
The service was very friendly accommodating.
Atmosphere was very unique. Warm and inviting.
Highly recommend.
I live in The Metro Detroit area & I would come down to Tecumseh just to attend this restaurant/Gift Store.

I absolutely love the cozy atmosphere, very well done. The service was great, especially considering how new it is and I expect it to only get better. The food is good and its great that they are willing to give options for gluten free and vegetarian. Fully stocked bar with plenty of commercial and local options. Great addition to downtown Tecumseh!!!

We went there for lunch today. Got a new waitress that knew nothing about being one. My husband is Celiac so he ordered this big lunch plate and told her NO BUN. We'll she had a difficult getting my order tight and didn't come back with more coffee or refill for me
So when food came mine was correct and good but my husbands had abun incorporated in it so he told her he couldn't have his food with bread so she took it away and was back in a couple of minutes so he said did you just take the bun off and it's the same meal and she said yes. Then he said I am allergic so my food can't touch bread so she took it away. They another woman came over and said are you allergic to the bread and he said yes so she said we will make a new plate. We'll she brought coffee still no refill for me. Trouble is now my husband can't trust them because it wasn't that long before she came with another meal. So pretty sure same meal just went in the microwave. So he got a to go box and we left. Will never go back. Terrible way to do business
