I needed a last-minute gluten and dairy-free cupcake for a friend's birthday. I called Amy's, and they informed me they had a vegan, gluten-free burnt butter option that was "most similar" to white cake (which I was looking for). I quickly drove there and grabbed two of those and six other flavors for the rest of my party. At the dinner party later that night, my friend was amazed by her special birthday cupcakes and couldn't stop raving about them. She said they were absolutely delicious. I usually don't eat specially-made cakes because I don't have any allergies, but I tried a bite, and they did not disappoint! Unbelievably divine! Oh, and the frosting - can we talk about the frosting for a second? I usually take off 3/4ths of the frosting on any cupcake I eat. I gobbled up all the frosting on Amy's cupcake. It is amazing. It is light, but not too whipped. It is flavorful, but not overly sweet. I'm not sure what she is doing, but it might just be the best frosting I've ever had. Strike that - it is the best frosting I've ever had. My friend and I are planning a trail walk now, just so we can go get burnt butter cupcakes again! Amy's Cupcakes has really nailed it. We will definitely be back. Amazing!
