I absolutely adore this restaurant. I was only in NYC for a couple of days on business and went here on my last day on a whim for lunch. I had the fresh pressed grapefruit juice, hamachi, and citrus, fries and fennel salad. All were perfection. We sat outside in the courtyard for some early spring warmth it was magical! The staff and service were top notch!! It was the best dining experience I had in the short time I was there. Also lots of veggie and gluten free options, even pizza!

I had a group dinner here to celebrate my birthday and we all had the best time! They gave me a bracelet to let the staff know I was the birthday girl and I got shots all night! We did the boozy pizza party. The included house wine was delicious and glasses stayed full the whole time. Decorating the pizza was so fun and the pizza was shockingly incredible. They accommodated my gluten free friends very well. The place was quiet enough to have conversations with your friends and be able to hear each other. Would gladly go back!!

This place is amazing. I absolutely love the owner and his ethos. They only accept Amex because in 1999 when he started the Restuarant the only credit card company that would back him was Amex (You can still pay cash if that pisses you off). The service is impeccable. Relaxed, knowledgeable and on point. Efficient. There are many gluten free, veggie and vegan options. Wine list is extensive. The escargot is out of this world. There is an explanation of foie gras on the menu including an one specifically for PETA supporters. The special of the day was snapper and it was phenomenal. I had the hanger steak, it was perfection. I’m coming back again and again.
