We placed our takeout order at 6:06pm. We ordered gluten-free lasagna, regular lasagna, small cheese pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs. We sat there for a good 30+ mins before my husband went up to see what was taking so long. They saw him looking and the went to check on the ticket so he sat back down. 10 mins later he went back up to ask what was taking so long. The said the the gluten-free takes longer. I understand that but there was zero communication to tell us why it was taking so long. And it takes an hour to make the gluten free? Seems like something that should be said when you order. The food finally came out at 6:58. When the young lady sat it down, nothing was said to us and she walked away. No “sorry for your wait” not even an acknowledgment of our wait. This place is normally slow but waiting almost an hour is ridiculous! We watched people get food, eat it, and leave. Right now, disposable income is shrinking so where people spend their money is important. If you are looking for ok food and slow, rude service, then by all means spend you hard earn money here. This will be the last time we eat here.
Love the ice cream choices, but the best reason I love Culver's is they offer a gluten-free bun. Food and service have always been good. I love stopping at Culver's when I'm visiting family in NC.
Very good restaurant for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Gluten-free options available. Peak times may require a short wait. Eggs Up Grille can be a bright stop in the day.
This small Italian restaurant is an absolute gem! The cozy and casual atmosphere sets the stage for an authentic Italian dining experience. The red sauces are nothing short of incredible. What makes this place truly exceptional is the excellent service; the staff makes you feel good with warm smiles and exceptional flexibility. If you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine, this is a must-try spot. Offers gluten-free options.
This is a small, trendy coffee shop and eatery in downtown Clayton with fantastic food and drinks. And there's a dessert shop that shares the space and has amazing sweet treats! Great sandwiches with gluten free options.
Love this place! The gluten free avocado toast was amazing! Very generous with the avocado. My kids loved the kid area and the food. Next time I’m in town I will be eating here again.
Fair prices, friendly staff, considerate of food allergies if you inform staff. We have been eating here for years with a gluten allergy, the only time we ever had a problem can be attributed with how we ordered. If you're careful to ask for no seasoning and get corn tortillas you should be fine with the fajitas, salad, soft tacos, and chicken or beef with rice.
Such a great meal! For my fellow gluten free friends, there are plenty of options on the menu that either are already gluten free or can be prepared to be so. The manager was there and also running as a server since they were short staffed - but you would never have known their short staffed, everything was timely and service was great. And she and other staff were just a delight, too!
Highly recommend the grilled romaine salad (why are we not grilling our lettuce more often?!), chicken dish, and for dessert - the CHOCOLATE POT (literal heaven).
I either go in and order or order pick up when we get pizza. They are wonderful with gluten free. I have found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and they have always gone above and beyond. Truly kind and caring individuals there! The gluten free pizza is the best in the area!
Even though they don't have a glutenfree menu, Bianca gave me several choices. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was well made, homemade, seasoned well and delicious. Portions were generous. We will definitely return.
Good afternoon,
I wanted to make a suggestion. We love your bakery and come there often. With that said, I would greatly appreciate it if you could carry gluten free bread for customers with Celiac Disease. My family was there earlier today for lunch to celebrate my daughter's preschool graduation and we could not actually eat there because one of my children has Celiac disease and there were no options. While your employees were very nice to us, they had no idea what to offer for gluten free suggestions for lunch besides the few bakery items that you have (muffins, cookies). Please please have some GF bread on hand for people like us so we can at least order a sandwich. And some training on allergy friendly food items to your employees may be helpful as well. It was very disappointing to say the least. Also, I tried to leave this message under your "contact" info but it didn't work.
Thank you!
We always order the same thing: fajitas for two. They're consistently delicious!
They even called me to confirm my gluten-free request and ensure everything was perfect.
A wonderful and delicious experience! In-house made from scratch dough ( regular/ 4-ingredients, and gluten free!). The GF dough is rice based and was some of the most delicious I've had in a while. No soggy spots. The chef, John, was trained in Florence, Italy. 🤩 The atmosphere is comfortable and rustic modern, very clean. Our server, Natalie, was attentive and very pleasant.
We will definitely be back! 🥰
FYI... Monday is 1/2 wine 🍷
