This is some of the best food we had on Folly Beach (and there's a lot of good food on Folly). Unique menu with amazing flavors, excellent cocktails, and quick & friendly service. We ordered the Greek salad with prosciutto, the red curry mac & cheese, and the tteok-bokki buccatini with sausage. Highly recommend all of it - don't think you can go wrong with anything in the menu. We'll be back before our vacation is over! This place is incredibly vegetarian friendly as meat is an add-on for the majority of dishes (not cooked with the dish). There are also vegan and gluten-free options. The menu changes every 4 months or so, so check the menu before you come to make sure there are options for your dietary preferences/ restrictions. I think, on average, that most would spend $20 - $30 per person (a meal and a drink), but if you try multiple dishes and cocktails, you can easily spend $50 per person.
Waited 2.5 hours for a table on a week of Florida spring break. The service was excellent; thank you Garren. But the food was mediocre at best, though it was the end of the night. Their house beer was excellent. Our family member who ordered a gluten free dish, which was assured to be so, was cooked in the same fryer as products containing gluten. It's understandable they don't have a separate fryer, but it was assured that the chef takes it "very seriously".
I was so happy when the sever said they had a gluten free menu! A little disappointed that they don’t offer gluten free buns for burgers but the shrimp and grits was amazing! Thank you for having some delicious gluten free options, I’m celiac so I don’t have a choice!
We were able to switch our grilled seafood platter into all Mahi Mahi. They made sure to accommodate my wife's celiac. Drinks were definitely affordable. The bartender made a drink that we requested, Fireball with pineapple juice. It felt like we were on vacation.... will be going back very soon!
Lacie is delightful and such a great server. We loved our food, heathy and delicious. Grateful we live close by so we can come again! Im gluten free and had the fish bowl- it was HUGE! 2 pieces of Mahi and lots of rice and veggies.
The Pineapple Hut is a great little food truck in Folly Beach that serves up pineapple-flavored dole whip (as well as other flavors) in creative ways! You can even get your dole whip served in a pineapple - check people’s pictures in their reviews!! It’s dairy-free, gluten-free, low-cholesterol, vegan, and it still tastes great!! This means it’s actually very low-calorie, healthy, and a perfect place to take your kids without feeling the guilt of giving them an unhealthy dessert. It’s right off the main road, very reasonably-priced, and totally worth your time. Check this place out next time you’re in Folly Beach!!
It took me a few days to find this place but man was it worth the wait! Their coffee is delicious and they served in house made lavender syrup that was dynamite! More spacious than the other coffee places in town, places to sit and stand. Oh, and their coffee was cheaper. They also had alternative milk selections (almond milk for my win)!
The second time we visited they had gluten free/vegan zucchini bread that was delicious!
A bit of a wait, but to be expected on Mermorial Day Monday. Food was yum, and they were about to make the huevos rancheros gluten free for us. Will be back.
