The quality is always top-notch, the staff is friendly, and the prices are super reasonable for what you get. It’s my favorite spot when I’m craving a great burger without the gluten. Highly recommend!
I love their gluten free pizza! And they have awesome toppings.
Pizza night is one of those simple pleasures of life. And when you have food allergies it feels even more special. It’s exhausting to say over and over “Sorry, I can’t eat there”. But when it comes to Sam and Louie’s I get to say “oh yeah I can eat there! And it’s good!”
Not alot of food choices for celiac/ gluten concerns. We ordered chicken whiff. They were tasty n big but one was cold n red on the inside n after reheating; while the end bone was popping hot the inside was still cool. Disappointing
We love this place! Great food! Outstanding service! My husband is gluten intolerant and this place can make almost anything gluten free! It’s a Must try!
My wife has celiac, so when we moved to Corpus and saw that Padre Island Burger Co. had gluten free buns, it was a no brainer to try. Good thing we did, because the food is amazing! No issues with GF and tons of burger options! Friendly staff and nice outdoor seating makes for a great casual dinner after a long day of work or a day at the beach!
Pros:
Service was excellent. Our server was kind and responsive. The views really are gorgeous and it’s a great time of year to be outside. The GF options are clearly defined.
Food:
I got the grilled fish tacos. This is NOT a place I would go with celiac. Although our sever was truly amazing and willing to figure out anything, there was no mention that the fries had gluten.
The food was a solid three stars for me. The ingredients are fresh and the fish and burger were cooked well. But everything was a bit lacking. The green beans tasted frozen to me. They very well just could have been steamed, but they tasted bland to me. (And I really like green beans.) I wished the corn tortillas were heated. They were straight out of the bag, and the fish was cold. That being said, I took my extra one home because the Tuna was super solid and well seasoned.
The ceviche was Tex-mex? I’m not sure what was going on. It was more of a saucy salsa style rather than a cut up, pico type, of salsa. Again, the fish was fresh. I loved the shrimp in it but overall me and my husband were disappointed with it.
For highly sensitive people, it’s very loud. But it’s a very popular local spot on the beach so that is to be expected. I was glad I brought my sunglasses as it’s open to the outside.
If you’re looking for great views, solid food, and a casual eat out, this is a decent option. I don’t know what else Corpus has to offer but people seem to love it. Our Airbnb even recommended it.
I would wager a bet that their fried fish options are super solid. I just couldn’t partake with my gluten allergy. But given how well my fish was cooked, and the other reviews, I’d go for those meals.
Chops & Eggs has quickly become our go to spot, we eat here weekly and every single meal is consistently perfect. Pictured are two of our dinner favorites: Tender lamb tips with mushrooms, rich brown gravy over creamy mashed potatoes and the 16oz prime New York strip, cooked to absolute perfection and served with mash and fresh asparagus. Both dishes are not only beautifully presented but bursting with flavor.
As someone with a gluten allergy, I’m always impressed by how many safe and delicious options are available. The care they put into accommodating dietary needs is rare and so appreciated.
Chef Jordan is truly exceptional his love and passion for food shines through in every bite. The prices are reasonable, the staff is always friendly, and the welcoming atmosphere makes us feel like family.
We always leave full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff. They were closing in 20 min. They did not rush us or appear impatient that we were there so close to closing. My son is gluten intolerant, the young man changed gloves and took precautions not to cross contaminate him. It would have been a miserable trip home if he had not.
Finally had Zambra Fusion Cafe for lunch! This is a vegan meal but they have a bunch of vegetarian, gluten free, non gmo, and organic options! And yes they serve meat too if you’re not into the healthy stuff! 10/10 recommend!
These dishes are POPPIN with FLAVOR. 🤯 Very tasty, flavorful, and well presented. I love that their menu is very inclusive of food allergies/preferences like vegetarian and gluten free 🙌🏼
We had the Panang Curry with shrimp, and the Tom Kha Gai, with Thai Tea. The Thai tea was a little too sweet for my personal preference but balanced out with a glass of water pretty nicely. Everything was ❤️🔥packed with flavor❤️🔥 and at a perfect temperature. Great customer service too!
I have to eat gluten free and had a fantastic meal here. I was able to have shrimp scampi, they have gluten free pasta and took precautions. Our server Alyssa was very helpful.

Cookie and crumb is little the cutest little shop. I wanted cookies one day and I found That they were closest to my office. I went and I was not disappointed!! I go Pretty frequently and they celebrate the cutest things! I thought 420 and the barbie movie was just the cutest!! Very fun, very cute. Everything is absolutely delicious! I believe they have gluten free or vegan options, i cant Remember which, or if they have both. I highly Recommend. I sent my cousin there and she continues to visit as well!!! Keep up the amazing work!!
Tim was our waiter this evening. Let me just say. Wow!! What an experience with him. Great all around! Made sure our drinks where filled.Answered all my questions for GLUTEN FREE options. His whole demeanor was pleasant one! A ++ service from Tim. The food was really good too! I most certainly will come back!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Delicious and Gluten-Free Thai Experience!
I can't say enough good things about this place! Every dish we tried was absolutely bursting with flavor and the best part? Everything was completely gluten-free, which is such a rare and wonderful find for Thai cuisine.
The Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, and Panang Curry were all superb! Rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. And the Thai iced tea transported me right back to the first time I ever had one, sweet, creamy, and full of nostalgia.
What impressed me most was how accommodating they were with my daughter's very restricted diet. They prepared her a simple but flavorful plate of grilled chicken, steamed vegetables, and brown rice, and she loved it! It's not easy to find places that take dietary needs seriously without sacrificing taste, but they nailed it.
The only downside is that the cottage can be a bit noisy indoors, but I highly recommend grabbing a seat on the porch—it's much quieter and adds to the charm of the whole experience.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic, gluten-free Thai food with fantastic service!
Great food and service! They were so awesome to trade out the hamburger bun for a Gluten-free English Muffin. You gotta try it! Amazing for gluten-free hamburgers!
Arrived later in the evening and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Aside from a mistake with the order, the food was delicious and well prepared. Decent selection for those with gluten sensitivity.
I believe the recent reviews were too critical. My friend and I visited from out of town and always choose Jersey Mike's because my friend has a gluten intolerance. The staff was excellent. The person taking our order asked if the gluten-free bread was due to an allergy or preference, and when we mentioned it was an allergy, they went above and beyond. They prepared the meat and cheese separately, sanitized the boards thoroughly, and even changed gloves. I was extremely pleased with the level of care they took to ensure my friend's safety with her meal.
Absolutely wonderful experience all the way around. Server was more than helpful with my gluten issue going above and beyond, food was great, place was very comfortable, and staff was extremely kind.
Loved the restaurant. It is outdoor so during summer the ice in our drinks will melt fast. Super friendly staff they had lots of knowledge on gluten allergies. They server recommended me what to eat to avoid and allergy attack. The gift shops is amazing but a bit expensive in my opinion. But overall loved the restaurant. We also took their boat tour was super amazing and friendly staff. The captain was very funny. Would 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back to Corpus to eat at the restaurant again.
I loved my pizza! It's difficult to find a tasty gluten free crust that tastes good, but they've done it. I also appreciated that they offer different sauce options for those us us that can't eat tomatoes. I don't get to eat pizza very often because of my dietary restrictions, so I'm grateful to be able to find a place that can cater to them. Thank you!
I ordered through their website for pick up. By the time I got there (10 mins.), the order was ready. The workers are very nice, and the sandwich (southwest club w/gluten free bread) is probably one of the best sandwiches i have had in over 10 years!
Our server took the time to ask the chef if different food items were gluten-free. I ate the salmon roll and Mango tuna yuze poke small plate. The Yuze poke was delicious. I especially loved the crunch of the shrimp chips which is a real treat as gluten-free. I can't wait for our next conference trip to eat here again!
This was our first time dining at BKK Thai and we had an incredible experience. The food were delicious and fresh. There were plenty of vegan and gluten free options. The service was excellent from the beginning till the end. Christina, the restaurant manager, was super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We feel very lucky to stumble on such a wonderful restaurant. ☺️
Look, I read the reviews; I always read the reviews and especially the negative ones. I imagine this place can get quite busy during the beach season AND everything is made to order. If you want fast, go to Mcdonalds or Starbucks. In the end it wasn't like it was that slow but not everything in life THIS GOOD should be fast. I had a creative bun-less burger called the Sgt Dan. It was delicious - 5 star for sure. I'll be back. Enough variety in the menu to keep it interesting and a gluten free option or two. Also, with it being close to the beach I can eat, maybe have a glass of vino, and then take a walk on the beach.. which we did. Good times.
Drove 23 minutes to get here because we called and they said they had gluten free options...so we are expecting home made gluten free bakery goods...get here only gluten free option is udis bread on a sandwich...big let down...nothing else gluten free. Food was ok..nothing great. Spent 33$ on 2 meals and 2 drinks..so price ok not great either...we ordered the smores cold brew and they come out looking nothing like the picture of them..no Whipcream no chocolate or gram cracker on top...had to request them to look like pic...could tell they were annoyed making it correctly :(
Best place in Corpus. Classy, well -sourced & seasoned deliciousness (oysters, fish, key lime pie). They also have a GLUTEN-FREE Menu. Whole team was fantastic. Shout out Miranda. A+

Very bland and just not good. We did not finish our pad Thai or lo mein which you would think are pretty safe options. Love the fact they have gluten free options, but they really need to ramp up the menu.
This little place was an actual D’lite! Hosting over 20 Girl Scouts (pre-planned), and rocked it. The whole place was clean, there was plenty of room for everyone, and the girls loved the ice cream!
I tried the rocky road which tasted much more rich than the regular chocolate I ended up getting. The chocolate was very light tasting, because of the healthiness of their ice cream, I didn’t feel full but happily content with my portion. Their prices are insanely reasonable and our gluten free kiddos were included too.
Definitely the best pizza oven in town. My wife has to eat gluten-free and they do offer a gluten-free option which is quite good (you can’t even tell it’s gluten-free). Pizza size is more than adequate and the choiofor ingredients plentiful. Their Caesar salad is excellent. We often order online for pickup, but also dine in.
What fun. Delightful young waitress with great suggestions. Excellent food. Onion rings best ever and gluten free. Musician out on the patio playing great music.
