I used to come here in college and loved it. The place has gone down hill . Service was slow, the toast was supposed to be gluten free. The toast was also cross contaminated with some marinara and green stuff. The green stuff looked like avocado and I have an avocado allergy. The egg was over cooked. In my opinion it was not very accommodating for people with allergies and intolerances. Not sure how this place has over 4 stars. I guess anything is good to college students when you don’t have a lot of options in the area.
This is a super cute little breakfast place. They have gluten free bread and biscuits! The mimosa flights were super good (blackberry mint, orange, pineapple, huckleberry lemonade). They freshly juice their oranges in a machine and we saw them cleaning it which is a green flag. The have so many different Benedict’s and we were all happy with our meals. I’ve heard it gets really busy during the weekends. There is not a bunch of seating but at 11:00am on Tuesday it wasn’t too busy at all.
This JJ's location is wonderful. The management and employees are efficient and very amiable. I love going in here particularly because of how friendly the staff are! The sandwiches are really good and I am really glad there are vegetarian and gluten free options.
I know they have been understaffed for busy days during all this and then in compensation they are overstaffed on slow days so sometimes their orders take a while and often there is only one in store person, they make due phenomenally!
PHENOMENAL DRINKS & FOOD! Beans roasted in house and so many gluten free options on the menu! I have sat in the coffee shop until it closes more times than I can count. And the customer service here in incredible! The baristas and owners are so personable and make Cheney feel that much more like home☕️🌿
The food was excellent for the price! My 15yo son wakes away full for less than $10. My picky 13yo daughter who eats like a bird refused to let us go until she finished her $12.50 bowl of authentic ramen that she won’t stop raving about. The sushi that my son and I had was great and well portioned. They had a Studio Ghibli movie playing quietly with Japanese subtitles and simple Japanese art everywhere. When I asked if they have gluten options for the ramen and milk alternatives for the tea, they said that they have plans for those in the future. That aside, there were still plenty of options for us to choose from.
It’s a new family favorite for sure!
The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it for dinner and lunch the next day. A lot of the dishes were new to us and the menu didn't tell us what we were getting. Most items are gluten-free so that was great. My enchiladas were well above average. It was too noisy!
The best gluten free pizza I've found. Vegetarian is also available for other family members. Reasonable prices and they have crustless! My goto place.
