We have had a number of enjoyable evenings here. The food isn’t 5 star, but they don’t charge 5 star prices! I think there is a good selection, and it always tastes good. Also cater for Gluten Free which is a life saver when you are a coeliac.
The staff are never short of amazing, Milly and Sam are both stars and that’s just to name two.
All in all, I’d happily recommend the Brache. 😊

Charlotte was today’s bar lady. She knew everything- including (joining Leon) to inform me that the gluten free gravy needs to be made specially, and just requires notice. It was excellent. I haven’t eaten gravy for years, so a treat.

Lovely traditional Italian restaurant. I visited here for a friend's birthday over 10 years ago, and it was lovely then.
I went last night for my wife and I's 6 months anniversary.
We both had a starter. Mine was the fried calamari, which was very fresh and tender. My wife had the breaded mushrooms with pate inside. I tried a bit, and it was lovely.
I will say there was no pizza's on the menu, which was a good thing because there are so many pizza restaurants if that's what you want. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options, and I think I overheard on another table that some dishes were gluten-free too.
I ordered the seafood linguine and her the steak in brandy glacé sauce. My linguine was a lovely big portion with langoustines, mussels, and other seafood, all cooked in a lovely garlic sauce. My wife ordered a medium steak that was melt in the mouth with a lovely sauce. We ordered a side order of brocoli, but it probably would have been better to get the mixed vegetables as they came with sautéed potatoes, which would have gone well with the steak. Also, I should have ordered some bread to mop up both of our great sauces.
The desert was tiramisu and a mint ice cream chocolate bomb. Both lovely. All washed down with a bottle of pilot grigio blush and a hot drink for afters.
The staff were friendly, the washrooms clean and well kept. The ambience was just right. There was background Italian music, which was there but not too loud.
We were really happy with everything and we won't wait over 10 years to come here again
