My first visit to Stein's fish & chips, have wanted to go for a long time, & have been told by many friends how good it is. My experience today was beige, nothing outstanding. We ordered gluten free fish & chips & that's what we got, fab. But they were not amazing as I had been expecting. Couldn't have mushy peas or tartar sauce as both contained gluten. So my meal was a bit dry. Nice fish & mediocre chips. Bit disappointed to be honest. But thank you for serving gluten free options, a lot of places still don't.

Just had dinner at Embers and it was a great experience!! My husband and I both got pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them - which is not something I get to say often since I am gluten intolerant and normally have to make do with dense, rock-hard dough even if the topping is good. Not so here! My gluten free dough was light and fluffy as you like, while the tomato sauce and toppings were really tasty and generous. The only slight issue was my mum's pasta was a little overcooked, but the sauce was good. Drinks were great. All in all, so happy we came and would thoroughly recommend.

Being a coeliac I had a gluten free cream tea, star shaped scone which was delicious and my friends had non gluten.

Very nice food, stunning views of the hsrbour and wider bay, options to sit inside or outside, super friendly service. Loads of gluten free options. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience at this lovely cosy pub. Sunday roast superb and catered for a Gluten free request in a friendly and professional manner, nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend this gem of a pub🤩
