Loved popping into Jakery Bakery today to grab a quick lunch. I tried their Cauliflower and Chickpea soup which was delicious plus I had the Ginger stem cake which was really tasty. I am a coeliac and knowing this place is 100% Gluten Free was a really great reassurance. Plus the food is delicious. You wouldn't even have to be gluten free to go, it would be tasty for anyone but also caters to vegetarians and vegans. The atmosphere was small but cosy and dog friendly. The staff were super helpful and answered all my questions! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area during the day.

Lovely place, probably the best gluten free fish I've had, and they use separate fryers. Bit of a wait for food, but to be expected on a bank holiday!

Went there on a weekend as a stop during a bike ride as a group of 8 people. As they did not have a free large table, we asked if they could join two small ones, which initially refused to do and once seated on two separate tables, they agreed to join. The atmosphere was nice, but the service was really bad. We were served by a group of very young ladies who not only looked like they were there against their will, they really rushed us to get us out of the place. The plates were collected while one of us was still eating, Then we were asked to move to the bar areas so they could seat more guests. When we pointed this out between us, the young waitresses started laughing at us and saying between their teeth "bye bye bye" as we stood up and left. Food was overpriced for the quality - the cheapest salad costs £15 and amongst the entire menu they offered only two vegan dishes and one gluten free dish. Do not recommend.

I am COELIAC ! My husband booked a table for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. I left the Swan in Southwold extremely upset! Due to So many problems with the GF Menu! I requested a number of dishes individually and was told they contain GLUTEN! I tried and tried to choose from the so called GF Menu to no avail. As you can imagine this was extremely embarrasing as other people had started staring at us! This table was booked well in advance (one month ago!) We felt extremely uncomfortable due to the unwanted attention and the lack of Compassion. This incident completely ruined what started out to be a memorable day! I/we now will NEVER forget this abhorrent experience! Fello COECIAC suffers be very mindful when going here!! If I could post this with NO STARS! I would.
