Very good, fresh seafood with a beautiful view of the Bay, and a short walk from the USS Midway. They can make several dishes and sides gluten-free. Be sure to communicate that with your server. Our server was well-trained on this food allergen. Recommended to make reservations, especially if you want a table outside or a table inside with the bay view.
A delicious little breakfast spot. Although there usually seems to be a line, I was lucky and didn't have to wait.
Their menu is varied but feels a bit limited, but the name says "pancakes."
The hash browns are greasy for not being so fried. The sausages are delicious paired with the pancakes, even the gluten-free ones.
It's nice to eat on their terrace; the weather is perfect.
The service was good, although despite the place not being full, the waiter forgot to bring me a juice I ordered. I don't know if it's customary in SD, but they brought us the bill before we ordered it, which seemed rude to us.
I’ve been here before but this was least favorite experience. It’s gone downhill each year I try it. The service was incredibly slow and we couldn’t even get the check to leave. Food was subpar and if you have a gluten or wheat allergy- the food is heavily cross contaminated. I would not eat here with allergies.
Skybound Coffee and Lounge was a great food experience! I tried their lavender vanilla latte with almond milk - the homemade lavender syrup made it so creamy, delicious, and perfectly sweet. I also had a custom egg scramble sandwich on gluten-free bread, which was equally amazing. Their menu has so many tempting options, including some decadent-looking sweets that I can’t wait to try next time. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a perfect spot for a quick bite!
I have been getting Michaela’s Meals for about a year now and they are the best meal prep/delivery service in San Diego. Over the past 3 years I’ve been using meal prep services due to chronic health issues that affect my ability to cook. I have tried over 5 businesses/services in San Diego, and Michaela’s is by far the best. The food is always delicious and properly prepared. They also have mostly gluten free options which is great, finally a place where I can eat almost everything! Everyone who works there is so kind and they go out of their way for their customers satisfaction. I highly recommend Michaela’s Meals!
If you have Celiac don’t eat here. I was told that they cannot accommodate gluten allergies as the kitchen is very small and cross contamination is likely. Happy they were honest. Better safe than sorry.
Gluten free & vegan options! It is a standard prep line of food so cross contamination is possible but for non serious allergies, it was fine.
The bowls were delicious and huge! We also got waters which seemed pricey until we saw the giant bottles they came in!
10/10 highly recommend
Chef Stacy was very pleasant and attentive to the questions of the class. Directions were clear and easy to follow. It helped that she executed the steps with us - thus allowing a visual sense of what things were supposed to look like as the meal prep and cooking process progressed. She also addressed student gluten/vegan/food allergy questions and provided recommendations for 'swaps'.
This was my first Cozymeal Cooking Class. I am a lousy cook - but EVERYthing turned out really well for my St Patrick's Day meal! I plan on duplicating the meal with the recommended swaps for veggies and gluten free needs of family.....and on having another success :-) I will be taking additional classes with Chef Stacy.
I would say I’m a pizza connoisseur.
And this place is in the upper 10% of pizza establishments I have been to.
Atmosphere was great, the staff was great, and the pizza was exquisite.
We had the gluten-free option and I actually like it better than original crust.
Amazing bayside views and atmosphere. Had the halibut and it was amazing. Catered to my Lowfodmap/gluten free allergy. Waitress was amazing. Friends had shrimp/grits, crab/cobb salad and loved their meals too. Highly recommend!
