My wife ordered a dozen cupcakes from this bakery to be ready April 5, 2025. The best thing is that this was a gluten free or celiac order. The cupcakes were top quality and taste! The flavor I got was red velvet and cream cheese frosting. These cupcakes were moist and delicious! When my wife and I went in to pick up the cupcakes we noticed it was not just a bakery for picking up orders, but they have a very nice seating area. Will certainly be visiting this bakery for my sweet tooth needs going forward.
I've been here twice in one week. One time with friends and today, I brought my family back. Let me tell you!! It has been phenomenal. Fresh ingredients, clean, really awesome customer service, and pizza cooked perfectly. Immanuel has been a delight to work with as I have a gluten allergy and he is so kind to accommodate me and always does it carefully and with caution. I really appreciate it! We will be back!
Awesome coffee shop! We stopped in while on vacation to try something different from the regular big corporate coffee houses we always go to. The place has an great vibe with a nice variety of options. The staff was ultra helpful and very friendly. They even suggested something new to try when I was undecided. I highly recommend the “Warm Hug” coffee drink. We didn’t try anything to eat but it looked good from what we saw people ordering. And breakfast is all day so that was a nice option. They even have some gluten-free options. Overall we’re glad that we stopped in and we will definitely be back the next time that we come through the area.
Burger is supposed to be gourmet. I got a burger loaded with mayo and slightly any bacon. No lettuce, tomato, etc…. The sandwich was literally mayo. Do not get pizza at Red Robin. It was a meat pizza, thin crust, burnt, some sausage, some ham, and very little bacon. The waitress was also the bar tender so I had to get up and ask another staff person if I could have a drink refill. All and all, we will never come back to this location. We are used to better restaurants family owned, but chain locations any more are just very disappointing. Spend less at a family owned restaurant and give these chain restaurants the boot. I asked for gluten free bun as I have celiac, and I can only hope it was yet with short staff and poor quality food who knows what bun I got. Oh total bill is $59.09 which is not even a good price. Village Burger of Lawrenceville, Ga has way better food at a way better price!
Strange has excellent tacos, a beautiful outdoor area, and is all good vibes! I’ve been here multiple times and everything I’ve tried was yummy. They will gladly change out flour for corn tortillas if you ask, and will do their best to accommodate your dietary needs when possible.
On my most recent visit I had the Tot-chos. They are nachos with tots instead of chips. I added steak and I have to say, they were excellent and the whole bowl cost about the same price as a Chipotle burrito bowl, which seems reasonable.
One consideration: if you have issues with gluten, they do have one frier for everything, so the odds are good that you will have a hard time here.
My fiancé and I go to this social spot at least every other weekend or more. We generally shoot pool, watch tv as we do so, and get a few drinks from the full bar. They don’t have a lot of options for celiac diet so we generally do not eat food here. If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy your time out Cosmo’s is excellent for a hangout place.
Great atmosphere on St. Patrick's Day, where all the servers wore green and were friendly. We tried and loved the smoked salmon dip with chips. The grouper sandwich included jicama slaw, adding a tasty, tangy flavor. We asked for a gluten free menu, which had plenty of options for a family member. We will visit again!
Skylar, Ellie, and Lucas took great care of us! Seriously exemplary customer service. The food was fantastic; exactly what we were craving. The gluten-free cauliflower crust was amazing too!
This place has the best food ever!! The food was made to order with fresh high quality ingredients. The taste was out of this world! I have a very picky 10 year old who loved the butter chicken! I have gluten and dairy allergies and the staff was so helpful in explaining their many allergy free options! It really made eating out enjoyable again! The staff was so welcoming and kind! This is definitely our new favorite place to eat!
I hate having to say this because the food is very tasty and the people are nice, but this is definitely not a safe spot if you are vegetarian or have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Two of the last three times I've gone, at least one person has been given the wrong dish(ex: chicken instead of a veggie burger for me, beef instead of a chicken patty for my partner who can't eat beef, and also things like forgotten sides/sauces). Unfortunately this was also for to go orders so there wasn't a chance to go back and swap it.
My advice if you go is to only dine in, so you have a chance to make sure you actually get what you ordered! This pattern of behavior also concerns me for things that people might not notice are wrong right away, like a gluten free bun being forgotten or cross contamination. I'll probably still dine in here, but go forth with caution!
My advice to the restaurant: just let your servers write things down! I don't know where the breakdown in communication is, but I would feel much more confident that I would get what I ordered if there was a written record of it.
Very nice place
Convenient location in downtown Lawrenceville
Excellent food and wine
I was accommodated with a gluten free option
Nice staff and owners
We had a nice time
Food was excellent but service was a little lax. They don't come and check on you save maybe once after they bring the food out, and I had emailed them the day before about gluten-free options and never got a response (now after almost a week too). We and one other group were the only people dining in and it was a Friday night too, which was kind of peculiar. Several people walked in for carry-out orders. Prices were average. Needs some kind of background music.
Positive things first. Cool atmosphere, greeted at front of restaurant, and lots of food options. I would normally have given 5 stars, but due to how much weight i put on service, i have to give this 2 stars. I ordered the special burger that the bartender told me about. I requested no bun because I have Celiac disease. I saw a gluten-free bread option but did not want to substitute and pay extra. I just wanted the bread left off, nothing crazy or out of the way. The bartender paused awkwardly and said the kitchen doesn't like doing substitutions. That kinda set the tone for the rest of my visit. I told the bartender I would prefer not waste bread and if they put on the bun, I'm just going to take it off. She just said ok. She told me she asked the kitchen to leave off the bun and they refused. It was easier to leave the bun off, and it was not a substitution, it was an omission. I could see the cooks from.where I sat, and they shot me a few disapproving, smug looks because I dared ask to leave off the bun. This was a very pretentious move by the kitchen, as if it's artwork and I was asking them to alter their vision of how they believed it should be created. It wasn't that busy and was a reasonable request met by a very unreasonable refusal. I didn't use the Celiac card but should have. I was angry and uncomfortable at that point but remained polite, ate my food(except the bun), and left. The food was good but the nerve and pretentious attitude by the cooks is a no-go. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place. There are too many other places that will cater to the customer's needs to put up with this crap, especially with the high prices nowadays.
I order gluten free pizzas from this restaurant 3 Fridays a month and they have yet to disappoint me. The crust is not burned and put an ample amount of toppings on the pizza. And yes, their gluten free pizzas are delicious!
Megan was amazing. She was very personable and kind. She explained the vegan options. I was able to try a new protein I had never heard of before. I told her I was avoiding sugars and without even asking her she put a no sugar peanut butter in my shake that I actually use at home. It was a great experience and I will definitely be returning after my workout. She also has fat burner shot that can be added. I asked her if I can just come and get that without the shake or smoothie. So if u forget u're thermogenic liquid fat burner or run out you can grab some from her! Gluten free snacks here also!
We loved this experience! This was one of our favorite stops in the Atlanta area. There was a coupon code right on the website, so we were able to get a discounted rated on tickets. $54/person for dinner and a show well done seemed pretty reasonable. For those with sensory issues, it's loud and there are flashing lights. We usually come prepared with noise cancelling headphones - one of our kids had a pair with them, but our child that doesn't always need them was bothered by how loud it was. We were able to go to the bar and get a pair of earplugs, so we appreciated the venue having that available. Once the earplugs were in, a good time was had by all.
Kaylee was our server and did an excellent job! I needed it to be gluten free, which you can opt for right away when you place your reservation. The meal is mostly gluten free to begin with, the only difference is that you don't get any bread with your meal, but that's ok. They had alternatives for the dessert. I had an Italian ice instead of the eclair. Portions were generous.
The show was very well put together. I couldn't always understand what was being said because sometimes the sound was echoey, but I was able to get the idea. The jousting and fighting scenes were well done - I imagine it takes tons of practice to get the choreography down just right! The horses were awesome, too. They even danced!
We bought merchandise for souvenirs while there, the prices were better than other places we visited in Atlanta. Not cheap, but also not ridiculously overpriced. The group picture was $22 and came in a really nice, sturdier picture folder. Pictures were more reasonable here than other touristy places.
Overall, a wonderful experience that we greatly enjoyed!
Edit: I forgot to mention that all of the knights had luxurious, majestic hair.
Was down in Lawrenceville for a business trip and had a very difficult time finding places that were safe for me to eat at with my gluten allergy. Thankfully, my coworkers and I stumbled upon Foggy Bottom! While their gluten free option list is the most extensive, everything on it is delicious. I’m not a huge BBQ person, but their stuff was so so tasty. Their smoked turkey, even without their seasoning, was excellent. The slaw and potato salad were also phenomenal! Our waitress was also great, she was extra cautious (as was the kitchen) when handling my order. She tripled checked everything and made sure every single one of my questions was answered correctly. The food also came out quickly, a great bonus. My coworkers said all their non-gluten free food was also spectacular! Would recommend this place!
GLuten Free meat and sauce options. At this location the manager will come out and review the menu to make sure you are comfortable with allergy selections. I was happy to see they brought allergy foods separately from non allergy foods. Price ranges with selection, but $10 per person was reasonable for the portions received.
