I went for the gluten-free pizza, but every topping was 1.75 extra. On top of the extra charge for GF crust, it got a little rich for my taste. The staff was efficient and friendly, and the side patio looked like it would be a great place to sit with friends, but I doubt I'll be back.
Fantastic pizza! Wonderful choices! I was amazed, as there are so many to choose from! The only Pizza shop to give me Gluten-free pizza! It wasn't terrible! I am amazed! You can even choose to take-n-bake! Who can beat it?
I am gluten-free, so I ordered a salad and a clear soup that was recommended to me as ginger infused. It was served lukewarm, and I think they forgot the ginger. I felt that the restaurant smelled musty, but maybe that's part of their atmosphere? So my rating is lukewarm. Like my soup.
My group visited this restaurant twice on our trip. Once for brunch and once for dinner. It was a night and day experience. The brunch visit was absolutely amazing and accommodating. My friend is gluten free so they made the smoked salmon bagel for her but as an omelet to omit the bread. Everything we had at brunch was fantastic and the server Gracie was on point.
The dinner experience we had was less than optimal. They ran out of filet and all seafood which cut their menu in half. We ordered entrees and pizzas to go for a midnight snack since St. Mary’s seems to roll the sidewalks up at 9pm. The entrees, while tasty, came out all at different times with sides missing and then we were informed they were out of pizza ingredients so we couldn’t order those. The waitress was amazing but clearly stressed by the kitchen/chef. It seems like that was a theme of the night because one other table inside with us seemed to wait forever for their entree and the chef kept telling the waitress “oh 5 more minutes” every time she asked. (The kitchen and dining room inside are very small and close to one another, we can hear you chef.)
TLDR: go for brunch especially if Gracie is serving. Maybe go for dinner if you’re the only table being served.
First time here since it was Lang's. If you have a big family of big eaters, it will be painful (where isn't nowadays), but for date night it's great. There's GF options for celiacs. Otherwise, nicely done Southern seafood. Big platter w fried shrimp, grilled scallops, and a couple fish filets was what I paid for and I felt I was stuffed for the money. Staff was friendly from the front door on through the meal. We went after dark but the dining area has large windows with a nice view (based on prior experience).
Wonderful 1st experience dining tonight! My wife has Celiac disease, and is gluten free. The entire staff rallied at the counter to help her pick a very good safe dinner. She had the ribs, baked potato, and delicious pickles. I had the regular chicken strips. It was wonderful! And the place is so clean! And well managed! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Hands down better than any starbucks. The atmosphere is very nice and they play great music that isn't too loud. The baristas were patient, attentive and all smiles. They have gluten free sandwich bread/English muffins and pies. I forgot to ask if there was an upcharge for GF, but the bread was so good. The barista even asked if my GF selection was because of an allergy. I was highly impressed. The coffee was amazing too. I will absolutely go back....because I have to try the pie!
