We had an awesome server. The food was also so good. I am gluten-free and they were very good at knowing what was gf and making sure it didn't cross contaminated! Awesome place and their salad bar is too die for!
Jordan was very helpful and cheerful. My son and I are gluten free and he was very knowledgeable with gluten free options. Great customer service and he had been working 12 hours already, this is very rare nowadays. This young man needs a raise.
Food was fast and really good. We had gluten free buns and it was so great to have options.
Thank you!
Northern Lights is the BEST pizza around. Their gluten free option is by far the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. Delivery drivers are always very nice and the pizza is always great. If I carry out the location is always very clean and smells amazing.
I used to get meals from here weekly when I lived in the state. I have been gone almost 5 years now and came back for a visit. I like staying on track so I stopped by. The service was the same phenomenal service as before. The choices felt as if they were endless. I’m both gluten and dairy free & it was amazing to have more than two choices. I’ve already tried the much recommended bison burger bowl & I loved it. The flavor profile was totally there. I can’t wait to try my other meals.
Great store with solid sales and friendly, helpful staff. Clean space as well! Has good health food section with gluten free options, as well as nearby gas station.
We enjoyed their jackolantern pizza and bought a gluten free pizza too. Wish they had more sizing options for gluten free crust, but it's nice they have that alternative.
This food is so rich and full or culture. The flavor is bursting with every bite- I come here so often, it’s my family’s go to place. One of the workers always helps my brother with celiac disease, we just call ahead of time and he gets my brother gluten free chips, with a separate fryer, utensils, gloves, and everything. Celiac, vegetarian, vegan, child, pretty much everything friendly!
We were just driving through the area when we decided to stop somewhere to eat. It was 1.5 hours before they closed. We figured we'd get some easy dishes so we didn't hold them up too much. We ordered the bruschetta and mussels appetizers, as well as the smaller balsamic chicken salad, and a side of fries. The bruschetta was kind of confusing. It was like a personal pan pizza with melted cheese, saucy tomatoes, and very soft bread. It was also served with a butter/parmesan sauce which was not listed on the menu and didn't really serve us any purpose. It was still good, just not what we were expecting. The mussels were quite good for Iowa. The white wine sauce was very nice and the portions were hefty. I boxed up the rest of the sauce to use in my linguine alle vongole the next day. Our server was wonderful. We did have to ask for silverware but she was pretty attentive otherwise. The prices were fair and the ambience was fine for a quick bite. All of the food came out fast so we ate, were paid up, and out the door by close. I'd come back and have a more leisurely meal here at some point. Not sure if I'd bring my gluten-free/vegan friends here but those with dietary restrictions have some options.
The gentleman behind yhe Sushi bar are the best. Enjoy watching the m make their art with food and it is to die for!
Also, willing to help make sushi with dietary restrictions, i.e. Gluten Free. Just ask, the menu is not marked but I always end up with 2 different rolls the chef has made g.f.
Second time going to this location with my girlfriend, who had recently been diagnosed with celiac disease. For those that are unaware, that is a complete intolerance to gluten, including in the form of cross contamination. We have had 2 different servers each time, and although neither of them understood what celiac was, after a brief explanation they went above and beyond to ensure we felt accommodated and my girlfriend felt safe with the food she was eating. Prior to us bringing it up, they automatically made the assumption that because it was an *allergy* it needed to be taken quite seriously, and the flattop was cleaned off diligently before her food was made. Quality of the food was as expected, and the friendliness of all the staff members was fantastic. Our first of two visits several months back, the owner even went out of his way to stop by our table and ensure us that her condition would be approached correctly even though it was their first time encountering it. Would give 6 stars if I could, as safety when dining out is a genuine concern that can sometimes hijack the experience. Very happy with how it was all handled and that my girlfriend could fell at ease with the food.
Love Happy Joes pizza! This location is take out only but has the same quality of pizza as the dine-in locations. It’s a little more expensive that most take out pizza, but they have good coupons. Also gluten free pizza offered for some of my family with dietary restrictions.
This place is amazing! I have celiac disease and the waitress, Brooklyn was super understanding and kind and brought out the head chef, Rodney to talk to me about all of the things I could eat. He made something special for me and even made me extra to take home with me. 100% recommend this place. Thank you Brooklyn and Rodney!!
Had a fantastic lunch! They were very knowledgeable and accommodating to making modifications to a dish for it to be gluten free. Will definitely be back!
I came in on my anniversary and was very nervous to order, as I am gluten-free. The waiter did the most magnificent job in making me feel comfortable and full. Best dinner ever!
