Great service and even better food! Food came out fast and was hot upon arrival. Good spot if you have a gluten intolerance/allergy, as they have gf buns and the fries are gluten free as well!
Amazing service, I did not know they had gluten free items also IPA that is gluten free until server asked me questions and showed me. She is amazing and i recommend coming here. Good food and good happy hour. Half off beers bottles and cans plus wine !!! Can’t go wrong.
My family really enjoys eating here, although I do not recommend eating here if you have Celiac. I ate here about a month ago and ordered the gluten free pizza (told my server to note that I have Celiac) and had issues afterwards. I thought maybe it was a coincidence but I ate here again recently and had the exact same issue. As someone with Celiac I will not be returning which is very disappointing.
The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Our server Danielle was so nice and attentive. The atmosphere is really cool too. I love that they have gluten free and vegetarian options. Highly recommend.
Affordable. Easy parking. Ask for help if you're not familiar with the menu...it's long. Everything is vegetarian. Most of the menu is gluten-free. The platters are excellent. Fun dessert options. Friendly staff.
We come here regularly and for the most part we’ve always had a good experience. The server very much makes or breaks the experience at this location. Overall happy with the food and grateful for the gluten free options!
A beautiful place to go with the nicest staff. I went with my sister since they had vegetarian options that looked good, it was both of our first time going here. I made a comment to another patron that it was my first time here so she could order ahead of me. The woman helping us not only heard me say it but made sure to explain everything they offered and even helped make suggestions based on my sisters and I different dietary bias. They were so nice, informative, and welcoming. The food was amazing, my sister's reaction was one I typically only see when she makes her own food how she likes. We even saw things we wanted to get for the next time. It is such a clean restaurant with staff that takes a lot of pride in their work. I recommend this place for anyone of any dietary restrictions (they have gluten free options!) and want a beautiful place to go to, to enjoy food with someone they love. This is probably the best experience I've had at any restaurant I've been to. Thank you to everyone who made it an amazing trip.
We enjoyed the food and wonderful service! They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy by putting lettuce around my burger- which was super delicious 😋

I got the pad thai, and it was super good, but there was a soba noodle in mine, which isn’t gluten free. I asked about it, and the employees were all very helpful, especially Eve, who helped me get a replacement :D
Had a fantastic lunch here! The lunch meal prices are very inexpensive with generous portions, and most importantly delicious! I got the Pad Jub Chai which was so good it prompted me to leave this review. They also have gluten free and vegetarian menus.
This was our first time to this restaurant in Michigan and never again. We waited an hour and half for our food. We ordered pasta. We were told we had to wait on bread because it was almost out of the oven when it was served it was hard and cold. My daughter is gluten free and was served regular pasta after we were very adamant it needed to be gf. The dirty dishes were left on our table thru the whole meal. Then we ordered cheese cake to go. Our waitress denied the menu that the only gf cheese cake was chocolate and yet the menu stated there was a plain with strawberry 😡$250 for watery disgusting pasta and my daughter to be thrown into a gf attack and ended up sick all night vomiting 😡😡😡Never Again

The food was good. They tried very hard to keep one of our meals gluten free by cooking it separately and prior to the other meals. We had multiple food allergies at the table (from both sets of diners) and they did a great job of making it a safe eating experience.
Our chef, however, was not one of the ones that puts on any type of "show" and that was disappointing. That's part of the hibachi experience and we definitely missed it. They stated that someone would be around to take free photos for everyone when we arrived and that never happened.
We went because of a birthday coupon but in the future, we'll visit other hibachi restaurants, as we enjoy the experience and fun that this type of dining is supposed to provide and Benihana didn't live up to that expectation.
I hadn't been here for a few months and was so delightfully surprised by the gorgeous remodel! Wow, it's beautiful, and the food is just as delicious as ever! Everything is homemade, including the gluten free bread which was amazing!! I just ate here yesterday, and I'm already craving it again! Everything we had was delicious! You can tell they are proud of their food and don't cut corners. Ardiana and her daughter are the sweetest people! So happy to support such an amazing family and so happy to have their restaurant a part of our community. This is what makes our city great!
We have been patrons of Shiro Restaurant for the last several months. We would typically order sushi rolls spending between $100-$150 every week. We were trying to be supportive to our local restaurants throughout the pandemic , especially during the time when restaurants were limited to carryout orders. We would typically order on a Sat. or Sun between 4-5 pm. Our average order was for 15-20 rolls of sushi plus salads. We enjoyed the freshness of the Shiro sushi & that they were very accommodating to my husband who suffers from Celiac. We also were lenient with the length of time that it would take to prepare our carryout order, occasionally waiting 1 hr. plus for our carryout. We had never had an issue up until this last Sun.4/2. We called Shiro to ask about how long the wait would be for a carryout order. The girl employee that answered the phone didn't know, so she asked another employee. That person picked up the phone and told my husband that they had only one carryout order in and it would be 20 min. So, we immediately got our order together & placed the order on the google restaurant ordering tool. The order was confirmed and it stated that the order would be ready between 5:09-5:24. We placed this order at approximately 4:15. So I immediately called Shiro to verify receipt of the order and how long it would take. We were told an hour. We placed this order within 5 minutes of our initial call to them. Once we arrived at Shiro we called to inquire the status of our order. We were told that it would take at least 15 more minutes. I then went into the restaurant to pickup our order and the man employee told me that our order wasn't ready yet. Also noting that they were having packing problems.I am not sure what that meant. He seemed scattered and ill prepared for customers. He then asked me again for my name and then said "Oh here it is!" He asked me to sign the receipt and gave me my order packaged up in a cardboard box.Once my husband and I arrived at home, I unpacked the order and noticed that our 2 salmon rolls were not in the box. Also, that our AAC rolls had tempura sprinkled on top. Note that ALL of our orders emphasize GLUTEN FREE on all of the sushi. I immediately called Shiro. The girl employee who answered the phone stated that they made a mistake and gave us part of someone else's order. She offered to replace the items or give us a credit. (They had also placed one of our avocado rolls next to the tempura rolls, making them contaminated with gluten/wheat) Then abruptly a gentleman employee got on the phone and said, "what's the problem with your order?" I explained to him what had occurred and then he became very argumentative. Asking me if I was going to bring the order back. I told him that I wasn't asked to bring the order back. He then went on to say that he needed to see the order to identify what happened. I was very taken back at his request. We had already driven almost 1 hr. round trip & he wanted to see what was done in order to give us the missing salmon rolls and replace the AAC & avocado rolls that were packaged together in the same box. I told him that we would be on our way to get our order corrected. My daughter left to bring the incorrect part of the order and get what we ordered. I received a call from the man employee. He began to tell me that they would make fresh salmon rolls. However, the AAC & avocado rolls were safe for my husband to eat. I told him that we have ordered these very same rolls with our past orders and that they had never had tempura sprinkled on them. He then told me that that is how they prepare the AAC rolls. that it is 100%safe and gluten free. I told him that I wanted new rolls. He said fine & told me that he would have them ready. Then a few min. after that he called me again. This time asserting that it was my mistake. I ordered the wrong AAC rolls. That I ordered it with the tempura on top. He maintained that the tempura had no wheat, then only to find out that it did. Then said "My bad!" He was untrained about food sensitivities. Do not recommend!
We went for my daughters birthday. The place is always clean. The pizza was really good and priced good. The gluten-free pizza was incredibly good. The games are a lot of fun
I was honestly blown away by my experience today. I have heard about this chain for several years, and was trying to find something for lunch after an appointment, so I decided to stop in. Immediately, I could tell this was going to be a positive interaction. Christian took my order, and he was so friendly and helpful. Both gentlemen working today were courteous to every customer that walked through the door, making helpful suggestion and giving each person their full attention, really making the most for the customer experience. Beyond exceptional customer service. On top of that, the food was phenomenal, and very reasonably priced. I am already looking forward for the next time I can come back!
For anyone who may be wondering, they do have Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan, and Halal clearly marked for applicable items on the main restaurant menu, and the whole place is clean and visually appealing.
Daniel was absolutely amazing. My friends and I came in for the first time tonight and he gave us the best recommendations. Jalapeño popper bread and a gluten free pizza! AMAZING. Very pleased with my experience here.
They offered a few different meats a few different ways. Just meat, sandwiches, or as combos with side offerings. The meat prices didn't seem too awful, but $3.50 for a small bag of Lay's potato chips is a bit much for a side. I ordered chicken yum. My husband, the brisket, amazing flavor! If in the area again, we would go back! I am gluten-free and on a low fodmap diet. I could eat here and satisfy my tastebuds.
Tasty food & great service. My mom is gluten free and they were very attentive and helped identify the dishes that she could have, even for their buffet.
Eh. Really this simple.. Ultimate package with 3 pizza’s cost me $400 for 9 kids. When arriving, we waited in a booth for 15 minutes to be taken to our table. The tables are too close together, and there were two other birthdays parties on both sides of us. Some random kid from another party came to our table and was drinking from my daughters cup. You pay for a tote bag which was never given to us. We ordered two gluten free pizzas for a guest with gluten sensitivity and another with Celiacs, they served us a regular pizza and told us it was gluten free, only to tell us 30 mins later they messed up. I asked the server multiple times if she was SURE they were gluten free and she said yes. Only thing they did to rectify that, was take the gluten free pizzas off our bill, which was $18.99. Not enough in my opinion, especially given the possibility that someone is going to be sick all night now. THEN my brother overheard the server talking bad about me for complaining about the non gluten free pizza. Just such a joke. A lot of games didn’t even work, play cards quit working early when it was supposed to be unlimited play for two hours.. just a complete trash experience and will never spend my money there again and encourage you not to either.
This place is the real deal. Genuine NYC/LA caliber Szechuan food right here in Novi. Simply spectacular quality and flavors. And they are that very rare Chinese restaurant that truly accommodates gluten free customers. We'd give them six stars if we could.
We had amazing service while out for our date night on a Thursday evening. We sat at the bar and Jessica went above and beyond. I have Celiac, and she made sure that what I ate was safe and gluten free. Both the Hubby and I were very impressed and we'll be back soon.
