GF (Celiac Disease):
They have GF rolls for an extra charge. I have tried the chicken parm (GF) in the past and its not that great. I only get a chicken caesar salad now. I do not like the thick cheese they use on the salad but it is what it is. The salad is a bit small for the price though.
When there is no other place around or in a rush, its a good place to stop for lunch.
Such a fun spot, can sit outside & people watch! Amazingly good food...I have celiac disease and they make they're own coating so I was able to eat the FRIED Fisherman's Platter!!! OMG sooooo delicious! Now a favorite spot to go!!!
Absolutely amazing!! Gluten free wraps are delicious, not chewy or hard. The menu has a large array of gluten free options. Food and service was excellent. Love love the drive thru style, it worked well with my introverted mood. 😬🙌🏼🥇
Arrived at noon on a Saturday to meet up with two other couples. We were seated alone in a back room with no other diners. The server allowed us all the time we wanted to chat, checking in from time to time to see if we needed anything. The menu was perfect with both lunch and breakfast items and easily accommodated our gluten free guests. Prices are reasonable and the food was nicely prepared. All in all a great experience.
I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and they always take extra care to change their gloves and utensils! Happy to have found pizza that I can eat and it tastes amazing!
I have gluten allergy. My waitress Ashely realized that they cooked the bacon different she took my food away . Good thing I would have been really sick. She got with the manager and he came over apologized for us not being able to eat together.
Ask for Ashley the bartender for your waitress.
Thank you again and food was great.
Friendliest service in Nashua by FAR. The baristas have great recommendations if you don't know what to get!! It can get pretty busy and I understand why, but I can always find a table since they have a larger backroom area and outdoor seating too. There are plenty of outlets for me to get work done, and there's a massive free parking lot right next to the building which is unheard of downtown. I love the crepes, not to mention GLUTEN FREE CREPES??! One of my friends has an allergy and has never had an issue here. And side note, they decorate for the holidays which is just adorable. 10/10!
Very good, if somewhat uninspired, American Chinese food. High scores for their gluten free options which are much appreciated. For me, dishes aren’t super consistent and are often too lightly spiced — not talking about hot spice here but everything; ginger, black beans, whatever. So, on many occasions the food can be kinda bland and nondescript.
Having said all that.. we’ve been going there for years.
They do a brisk take-out business. The online ordering and pickup process is efficient.
It’s unclear if the multiple local CYL restaurants are related at all. This review is specific to Nashua.
Hands down some of the best service and understanding when it comes to food allergies. Amazing drinks and dinner with the amazing bar staff tonight. Thank you for accommodating my Celiac Disease and Mushroom allergy.
This place understands vegans, and won’t let us go hungry with proteinless food. I called ahead to make sure my order can be done vegan and gluten-free. The man on the phone was friendly and informative. He instructed me to just make a note in the memo if ordering online. I ordered a vegan Veggie Burrito and the Green Monster, which is a smoothie. The Green Monster was a delicious way to get my daily greens and good choice because I was on the go. It was very banana-y and nutty. The Veggie Burrito impressed me even more it. It smelled slightly sweet, and when I took it out of the bag, it was bigger than my forearm. My first bite was super flavorsome without being too spicy for me. There were huge, hearty chunks of tofu, making it protein-packed. Even only eating half, I knew I was not going to be hungry 20 minutes later like with the “vegan” menu items at other establishments - nothing wimpy about the Veggie Burrito. The other chunky contents of the burrito made the burrito far less messy to eat than any other burrito I have had. Well wrapped, no finely diced, textureless mush here! Any vegan knows vegan cheese can taste like plastic and can refuse to melt. I am curious what brand they use because it was better than any other I have tried. It was flavorful and it melted beautifully. I regret not checking out this place sooner. I recommend this place and will be back to try more. I wish they had more locations, and I wish every restaurant had food like this
The Friendly Toast is the perfect breakfast spot that I've been looking for! The atmosphere and environment is very welcoming, friendly, and joyous. The waitress, Heather M, was phenomenal and super helpful. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and made sure we understood what all the little icons meant (favorites, gluten free, and new items). The food was delicious!! Gotta go back to try more of their food!! Thank you!!! Will definitely be back!
Great unique drinks, saw lots of martinis being served at the bar. They had 4 beers on tap and a nice selection of canned beers. Stoneface DDH, mmm.
We tried the lettuce wraps, Kobe sliders, and flatbread BLT which all delicious. Nice atmosphere and wait staff was perfect.
Gluten Free items were clearly marked and staff was knowledgeable about the subject. They told us chefs would change gloves so they were careful about cross contamination. Will visit again!
This place is so cute and the Barista is amazing and so nice! I got a maple pumpkin pie latte with oatmilk and it was delicious. I also got the avocado toast on an everything bagel and loved it! They have gluten free baked goods and a cozy atmosphere. A great place to stop in before work!
My favorite part of Five Guys is the fries! I also love that you have gluten free options. Today however I was very disappointed with my fries. They were old, over done, dry and barely warm. I think I will drive the extra miles to the Webster Square location from now on their fries are always dropped to order and I don't mind waiting an extra few minutes for hot delicious fries.
Decent gluten intolerance friendly options, my steak has been cooked properly both times I've visited and the waiter was very understanding and helpful when my son inevitably spilled his orange juice all over the wall. This restaurant is NOT wheelchair accessible. They have a chair lift but it has been broken, so if you need one call ahead to check if it is working.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Some months back I called the store and asked if their waffle bowls were gluten free. The female employee on the phone didn’t know, so she rightfully asks the male MANAGER. Without hesitation, the MANAGER says “yup gluten free!” Okay… didn’t seem legit….flash forward to today…
I decide to branch out and order another flavor. Before doing so, I called to see which flavors were gluten free. The female employee, whom I wish I could separately give 5 stars to, took the time to check in her system which flavors were gluten free and listed which ones were not. I then asked just to double check with the (clearly much more competent than the MANAGER) worker if waffle bowls were gluten free. She then once again took the time to check in her system and confirmed the waffle bowls are NOT GLUTEN FREE. This might seem like a small inconvenience, but to me, this “small” inconvenience controls my entire insides. Gross? Imagine being me. I will never order from here again. Do yourself a favor and promote the girl who worked tonight to manager.
Here's the deal, you walk in and there are plenty of employees, but they will tell you they can't take your order, only online. The website will then say it's having difficulty, so you ask again in store and they help you by telling you to use the app. Customers walk in and get turned away, one after the other as you sign up for an account in the app. Then you order your food, but be careful, there is no place to mark any allergies. Be creative when naming your order for pickup, something like GLUTEN FREE GRAHAM OR DIE , ANYTHING to grab their attention. Then after you have succesfully ordered your food in the app, you can watch them make it without interacting with you at all. If they disregard the allergy, ask them to remake it as you watch, like an ordinary customer interaction you sought for to begin with.
Edit: the name trick doesn't work. It disregarded my chosen pickup name and used the name from registering my chipotle account, exactly what I need. Awful
Delicious food. Friendly people. Nice to kids. My daughter has to avoid gluten and dairy so BBQ has become our go-to on days when we’re out shopping for mom. The folks at Willie Jewell’s went out of their way, on more than one occasion, to make sure she got an awesome lunch. Their food is great and it comes out fast if you’re in the go. Prices are good too. Thanks to the team for making dad/daughter lunches fun and easy for us!
I ordered take out and when I arrived it was about 1/2 full. It was clean and bright inside I went to the host desk and she said she would check on my order. It was supposed to be ready when I arrived. I had to wait almost 15 minutes longer than the pick up time I was given, so I watch TV until my food came out. I ordered the Chubby Chicken without the hidden sauce and fries. The sandwich was absolutely delicious… I mean fantastic!! I will definitely be back with my hubby because they have lots of gluten free options!! Next time I’ll save room for donuts!!! PS the pictures are not great and I crushed the bun a bit trying to take it out of the to go box!
Incredible experience all around! Owner Chef O is an awesome and generous host and takes great pride in his restaurant. Cool retro ambiance, delicious food, wide range of unique food options too. I had the Caribbean bowl and it was delicious and good portions. Very reasonably priced too. They have live music too! They also take pride in being vegetarian and gluten friendly and will accommodate.
Wonderful local cafe. Owner and staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming and knowledgeable. I have had both the BLAT and Turkey club on gluten free bread and they were delicious! Hands down the best strawberry lemonade too (made fresh with real strawberries). The pastries looked delicious (store smells like banana bread you get at Grandma's house ❤️), but the only gluten free one is macroons. The owner is awesome too- you can text and they will set a macroon (or whatever you want) aside for you so you can snag one before they run out (and they are huge and so yummy).
Absolutely wonderful place. I've been going since I was little. I know the owner. Ron is amazing. We love the atmosphere. And, even with my celiac disease they are accommodating.
Friendly staff, quick service and absolutely delicious pizza! I am so happy that they have great gluten free pizza too! We will definitely be back for more!
We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. It was the best choice we made all weekend. The map did say it was a Chili's but we went for it anyway and were glad we did! The atmosphere was awesome. The service was great. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. When we sat down, a server came with chips and salsa. WARM homemade chips. My husband is Gluten Free and there were tons of options. Also, it's six hours later and no issues at all. Corn tortillas for the win! I got the fish tacos and my husband got the street tacos. An amazing amount of food, I could not finish it but it was so good I desperately tried too! Definitely worth a stop when you are in the area. We will be back.
Special cafe with the best pastries and delish coffee. The owner is a bright and cheerful pastry chef who loves what she does. My favorite is the lighter affair sandwhich gluten free bread and the super muffin (gluten free). And the coffee oh the coffee always amazing, it is roasted coffee and the barristas have a special touch with their designs and taste. My fav go to place when I want to work and have some delicious food. 💜
I also order lemon meringue pies for the holidays.. the family raves when I bring them. Also the chocolate cream is a family favorite as well.
Highly suggest you check them out and take a break from your day to enjoy the atmosphere.
This was some of the best food I've ever had from a pizza place. Gluten free pizza was spot on, tortellini Alfredo was absolutely next level. I will be ordering again very soon and tell more folks about it. Nice job to all.
