Best gluten-free rolls I've been able to find, and my allergy makes it very hard to find one. Dude makes an amazing diablo spread and fills that sandwhich to the brim, I love it here
After going back and visiting my old hometown I was desperate for a mustard pie which no one had heard of as of yet down here. I went and ask Salvatore who not only knew of them but 5 different ways to make them. He graciously (on the spot!!) called my favorite old pizza shop and said “I happen to have a broken half of gluten free crust, if you want to wait I’ll try and make one for you” (which was amazing on all counts plus I’m gluten free and it’s so hard to find good GF pizza). Needless to say Salvatore nailed it on the first shot!!!!
He didn’t charge me because it was a test and was explaining how we could adjust it more to my liking if need be. I surprised my mom with it this morning and she was over the moon thrilled as were the two very lucky coworkers she shared a bit with.
The customer service, his authenticity and knowledge, everything was amazing. 5,000 gold star rating!!!! Now we have our mustard pie for Friday nights and English mysteries again!! He was such a joy and so passionate about his ingredients only using the best and even telling me how to order this if I want it as a dipping sauce too!!
Sold!!!!
10/10 experience every visit, the homemade ice cream is to die for. They have vegan and gluten free options for people with allergies. They also have food! Highly recommend the grilled cheeses <3
Absolutely delicious marshmallows. Worth every penny. Love that theyre almost all gluten free and the ingredients are on every package. A true gem of a store
Ate here for the first time. I got three simple ground beef tacos. They were cold and unseasoned. It seemed as if all ingredients had just been taken out of the fridge and the corn tortilla was not warmed up or cooked a little to make it bendable. The ground beef was cold and tasteless. The cheese was not even a little bit melty. Comparable to a salad on an uncooked tortilla. My friends who got burritos enjoyed their food which is why I’m not giving less stars and also it’s a cute small business. It is a nice place but avoid the simple tacos, stick with the burritos (sorry if you need a gluten free option like myself though). I see other reviews on here agreeing with the problems of this dish.
Cute Atmosphere, But Not Great for Gluten-Free
The restaurant has a really cute atmosphere, and the service was good, but if you’re gluten-free, the options are very limited. While they do offer substitutes, they are not worth the extra cost—you get significantly less food, and the quality doesn’t justify the price. I paid $35 for breakfast with a latte (not including tip!! Was over $40) which just didn’t feel worth it and I left feeling slightly hungry still. If you don’t have dietary restrictions, you might have a better experience, but for gluten-free people, it’s not the best value.
Great little place! Great vegan food, prices, and the staff is very friendly. My partner and I are also gluten-free, so it was nice to have some gf options too. I love all of the live plants and artwork inside too!
i was ordering a to go order and was unfamiliar with the menu. i spoke with a girl named miranda and she was beyond helpful! she made the menu very clear and i have concerns with gluten and she described in immense detail the gluten free options & made me feel very safe while ordering over the phone to accommodate these needs. the best!
The crazy cat has some amazing cakes, pastries, cupcakes, brownies, you name it. They also have gluten-free vegan options. We took home some cupcakes that were fantastic.
