Tapas 177 is such an incredible restaurant in every single way from food to drinks to service to the vibe. This review is about catering!! We worked with Chris Z who is an absolutely phenomenal person. Chris helped us pick out our menu and coordinated everything with us — all the way down to mentioning changes in texture from our usual restaurant experience to general effects of transport/time! Everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly. Even better, it was DELICIOUS and EVERYONE was extremely happy with the options!!! One thing Tapas 177 does exceptionally well is dietary restrictions. They’re very clear about risks with shared fryers but also take great care to label things. The variety on the menu allowed for us to cater gluten free and vegan without settling for things we weren’t interested in. Variety!!! So sorry to my future children but eating a mountain of Tapas 177 spring rolls with my wife on our wedding day is impossible to top. Thank y’all so much!!!!!
In town for a long weekend and found this place. I had a gluten free personal veggie pizza with dairy free cheese, and it was delicious. My husband ordered a burger and fries. The fries were crispy and so good. My kids got meatball subs and an order of cinnamon sticks. They had something for everyone, a great spot to have lunch.
I ordered from Squatcho's for a student dinner hosted by my academic department: three pizzas and garbage plates. I could only try the garbage plate because that was the Gluten Free option, but it was really great -- the Mac salad is some of the best gf pasta salad I've had. The pizza went down easy among my peers and smelled AMAZING. Made me want some. Great vegan option.
I have Celiac disease and this is a restaurant I have not gotten sick from eating at. They are super knowledgeable and every server can tell you what’s safe and what’s not.
It’s one of the few places I feel safe eating at!!
This was an incredible experience at two and four persons. The drink menu is spectacular, the board game selection is small yet solid, and the food is great. I'm not a video gamer, but there's multiple consoles. They have a variety of allergy options, and the gluten free options were delicious!
Best tacos in Rochester!!
Everyone was friendly and helpful. There are many gluten free options. And the best part, the tacos are incredible and the most authentic I’ve had in Rochester.
I ordered tacos Al pastor and sopes asada. The corn tortilla are handmade, in house, and amazing!! 10/10 recommend!
Parking: you will need to find street parking or one of the nearby lots.
You will not be disappointed!!!
I normally order a turkey club on gluten free bread, which is amazing. However, we no longer can eat pork. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap, and I ended up with a sandwich. Their site says they have gluten free wrappers. Also, they didn’t notify me.
Not a bad little lunch spot with some gluten free options. I was able to order the tuna melt on the gluten free bun and get 2 sides.
The staff was extremely friendly and double checked ingredients to make sure it was gluten free.
The atmosphere is cozy and fun with so much art and light. There’s east street parking and even some outdoor tables.
The food was good and prices fair.
I checked online before going to make sure they could accomodate me as a gluten free vegetarian. The menu I saw said they have GF pasta and pizza crust. However when we arrive I was told they didn’t have those things.
Apparently this Branca and the one in Bushnell’s Basin are owned by different people and have different menus. If you’re gluten free, skip Midtown and go straight to the Basin location
Extremely lovely place to hang out and just have a nice time with the cats. I love that it's an open space with separate rooms for the cats to take breaks from people if they need to, and everyone is really great about making sure the cats (and other people) are respected. I think it's a good place to see how the cats will behave in a home since they're not overcrowded or attention-starved. I love the art featured by local creators. Minus food points for limited snack choices but plus food points for the snacks being gluten free + vegetarian.
