I have celiac disease, and I can eat everything in this restaurant. That is such a wonderful treat! The food is delicious! I have never had a reaction to the food.
This was my 3rd time going to this restaurant! I got the daily special, which was a vegan gluten-free Buffalo chikn Alfredoš. Man it was sooooo good! If you're like me and you like a little extra spice and protein, get the spicy nuggets too and combine them with the noodlesšš. I also had the strawberry creme smoothie and it tasted like love blended into a juice, lol. Next time I go I'll take pictures! Forgive me, the taste distracted meš .
I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the restaurant! She is a very sweet, kind-hearted being! She gives off a kind nurturing Auraā¤ļø.
The menu here definitely has something for everyone. It took me a good minute to finally decide what I wanted cause it all sounded so good.
I ended up getting their classic eggs Benedict and everything about it was perfect. From the wiggle of the egg, texture of the bread, freshness of the veggies, to the ability to switch to gluten free bread and egg whites at no extra charge if desired/necessary. I canāt remember what my colleagues got but all plates were eaten clean by the time we got up to leave.
Service was a little slow: perhaps the kitchen staff is still low post-covid like so many other places. The food was great though. The staff was nice too and very accommodating of my wife's celiac (gluten) issues.
Has been celiac safe for me!!! As usual- proceed with caution, but I have never had a reaction from Romeoās pizza and Iāve probably gotten their GF pizza probably 30+ times since becoming celiac AND Iāve gotten it from multiple locations around central Ohio. I am not AS reactive as some other celiacs. I have had reactions from Dominos and Donatos GF pizza though but never Romeos. Of course, take a bite or two and wait a few hours to see if you have a reaction, but I have had luck with Romeos and essentially no other chain placeā¦. Even Jets gave me a very mild reaction. THANK YOU ROMEOS FOR KEEPING THE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA GLUTEN FREE. Much thanks from the celiac community.
It was good. I haven't been there in several years. Service was excellent. The food was good. A member of our group had a gluten allergy. They were very accommodating to making sure they received the correct dish.
I am gluten intolerant, and last night I ordered myself a pizza made with cauliflower crust. I trusted that they would follow that. They did not. They gave me regular crust which I didnāt realize until a little while later when I began getting sick for hours. My night was ruined, I was VERY sick, and am run down today all because they didnāt follow the order correctly. Extremely upset that they didnāt follow a simple instruction which caused me to become very ill. Wonāt be ordering from this location again for the fear of having this happen again
Edit: Spoke with the manager and he was apologetic and credited my account
My husband and I went here for the first time this morning and really liked it! The coffee drinks we ordered were delicious, and we liked our food. I got their keto bagel (which I believe is also gluten free) and veggie cream cheese, and it was great! The staff were friendly and fast. Weāll definitely be back!
You'd have to drive 130 miles to get better gluten free pizza; crispy, crunchy, delicious, not the least bit chewy.
You complete me.
Edit:owner's reply makes me want a pizza.... Mmmmmmmm.
Iād give 10 stars if I could!! Delicious, moist and a crowd pleaser for my twinsā 13th bday party. Even the gluten free ones for my daughter who has a wheat allergy were scrumptious!!
