My absolute favorite restaurant! The most delicious food, the safest for people with celiac, the kindest staff, the best vibes, most amazing happy hour! I couldn’t recommend a place more!
This place was absolutely amazing. The food was so delicious and healthy. Felt like I was eating my moms homemade dinner. So fresh. Also 100% GF! So no need to worry about cross contamination 🤗
Quaint little restaurant bar atmosphere. The menu is awesome, but very few options for a celiac gal like myself. The curry deviled eggs were amazing. Gluten is a whole vibe there, so those who can, enjoy!
I am a new lover of Veda! After coming here with a friend over the weekend I decided to return for lunch this week. I was so happy to find out they had specials for restaurant week!
The fish pakora was so good I literally wrote home to mom about it! As someone with dietary restrictions finding a place to eat can be hard, but Veda has loads of clearly labeled gluten free options. Their fish is sumptuous and flavorful. I also got the fish moylee and the sauce was so good I could swim in it! I totally enjoyed everything I had. Everything tasted very fresh, flavorful, and delicious.
Apart from the food the service was wonderful. My waiter was kind and attentive at every point throughout my meal. It’s great when food tastes good and even better when service stands out. My waiter, Khemraj, was so kind and helpful I will make it a point to stop by again sometime this week when he is working. Do yourself a favor a stop by Veda. Whether you’re by yourself, on a date, or with a friend- you’ll be glad you did!
The online menu isn't super well-labeled, but the staff are extremely knowledgable! I have Celiac Disease, and I accidentally ordered a dish (online) that could not be made gluten-free. The server, Gabby, immediately called me to let me know and suggested a really wonderful gluten-free alternative. The food was ready super quickly and the staff was very friendly.
My husband and I decided to come here yesterday for a last minute night out and we have 2 complaints -
1. The menu on their website reads as if they have gluten free pasta and pizza options because both sections are not marked with the “cannot be made GF” asterisk. I am gluten free so this was a let down. I definitely recommend management update the website to be more clear.
2. Our cocktails were bad. We each had one of the signature cocktails and felt like they were unusually sweet. We then got 2 dirty martinis and they were very bad. We had asked the waitress if they were served in chilled glasses and she said yes but that was not true. The martinis we received were warm and not dirty. Could barely drink them.
Our food was tasty and the service was good so I hope next time is better on the cocktail front!
A wide variety of food from Latin countries. However, I didn't see anything that reflected true Puerto Rican options. That was a disappointment. They have a few gluten free options and only one option for brunch. I'm not a fan of chipotle and wasn't in the mood for nachos for breakfast I just had rice and beans which were like warm not hot. It was almost cold. A huge turn off. I tried the yucca bowl that was good but had more cheese than yucca. The yucca fries were good but lacked a distinct flavor. I would have liked some adobo to give it more taste. Service was great. The environment is nice especially if you can eat outside. I will go back to try other things in the future and specify to warm the food.
Eli was an amazing server. He was extremely friendly and welcoming. He was also very knowledgeable and accommodated my gluten free allergy with outstanding recommendations. The food and drinks were great. Thank you Eli for a great experience.
This place is just soo good! I have a gluten allergy and can easily get a yummy lunch here without any worry. The Kale Caesar, charred broccoli and chicken thighs are to die for!
My job today ordered the falafels for our lunch for orientation It was awesome I consider myself a multiterion so this fits right under umbrella of what I eat. Also they do have a gluten-free option for the bread but unfortunately I didn't get any
This review allows me to reflect on 8th grade, when our class project was to write, and/or perform a presentation of “how to do/how to make something”. At the time, my sight was on culinary school. So, I decided to bring in 2 woks and demonstrate to the class “how to make chicken sit fry”. The reaction- staff smelled it in the principal’s office, and secretaries to the vice-principal and principal, wanted to sample what I had cooked. I received an “A+” for the project. I can assure you, know one from Honeygrow took notes that day!
Bland, with portions on the child size, my meal was a major disappointment, and fitting for the restaurant whose name consist of the two words I kept saying to each entrée before it was opened, “honey-grow”!
Let’s start with stirfry. Unless you’re desperate and there’s absolutely no Chinese restaurant available there is no reason to order stir fry from this chain restaurant, that’s mind-boggling how it’s been successful between the small portion with mostly noodles and a taste, which I was searching to find, it is definitely one of the three worst stir fry dishes I’ve had in over 40 years.
Aside from the above, one of the problems with both the vegetables utilized in the stir fry as well as the salads, is that for a restaurant chain, that you would assume, focuses on healthy ingredients, as opposed to other fast food chains that mostly all utilize preserves, and the dirty dozen of vegetables, 95% of the ingredients are not organic, and are known vegetables high in pesticides and other carcinogens- simply look at the very resourceful website ewg.org, which will greatly benefit your health, as well as anyone that you care about.
If the ingredients utilized by Honeygrow were organic, and did not include anything toxins, and there was an assurance of no preservatives, I could try to substantiate quality over quantity, but, still compromise taste. But, that doesn’t apply here.
The salad, can include organic spinach, if that’s what you choose as your base. For the rest of the ingredients, I will went with safest (aside from carrots) choosing the edamame, snow peas, chickpeas, Mediterranean herbs, along with the grilled chicken.
Honeygrow does have items, very limited, to accommodate people with gluten allergies. Otherwise, if someone were to suggest ordering from Honeygrow again, my answer will simply be, “honey no!”
The team running this location is incredible - they truly exemplify synergy. They’re so efficient without sacrificing kindness and support. Such a great lunch! Also, my partner is gluten-free and dairy-free and had no problem identifying delicious options. Shout out to Lorraine and her team!
I have celiac disease. I've eaten here many times and I've never been sick. The only thing on the menu that isn't GF are the churros, but they have a dedicated GF fryer! Love the food. I will be back here many times.
This restaurant is an absolute joke. I ordered this gluten free shack burger in the shake shack app and received the most pathetic portion I’ve ever seen of lettuce and tomato. My order also included a regular shack burger with large tomato slices and lettuce. This has to be a joke. I could’ve cried I was so hungry, and I lost my appetite peeling the three pieces of tomato stacked on top of each other because they were all congealed into the cheese. I also had to eat it without the top bun because all of the sauce was attached to the shred of lettuce on the burger.
Owner is such understanding!! I have been coming here since it’s opened for the gluten free pasta and it’s amazing. I had an issue with an online order and he truly was kind and helpful! Highly recommend!! Can’t go wrong with the food or service
The best Dinning experience I've had in some time. The service was A1, the food was beyond anything i could have expected. The Atmosphere is very pleasant and enjoyable, They were able to accommodated for my friend who has Celiac, The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is excellent, This restaurant is a 10/10 in my opinion.
They have gluten free options, BUT there can be cross contamination in their ovens for the pizza, so if you are coeliac it’s better to eat the pasta. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good.
Amazing food , staff are wonderful and our dinner was on point and didn’t take forever.
I truly can’t wait to come back.
ps.. my wife is celiac and the gluten free options were absolutely delicious.
Kitschy interior is a 70's dream and food and drinks are priced well. A happy hour special on the rooftop provided everything I needed: drinks, gluten free options, a view, and great music.
My favorite. What a cute cafe. Always busy. Service is great but the food is even better. The Tunisian tuna salad is just wow i get it every time and a lot of their food is gluten free as well. What a great little spot
This is one of my go to lunch spots in the city. The food is superb, healthy, and almost entirely gluten free! The staff are all kind and friendly as well. If you want a delicious meal you can feel good about this is the spot. I can't recommend RFE enough.
We went here before a comedy show at Helium and so glad we did. I've never had thai food before mainly because I am allergic to nuts and gluten, but they were VERY knowledgable and made me feel comfortable ordering. The food was so flavorful...get the drunken noodles! The BYOB is a plus. Thanks for having us!!
Great food and even better service. Our server was very helpful in letting us know which menu options were gluten free (a lot!). We also sat overlooking the kitchen and you could her the kitchen staff confirmed orders with nut or shellfish allergies--I would feel comfortable eating here with a food allergy. The two of us shared four plates and it was the perfect amount of food. The crispy oyster mushrooms were our favorite.
Gluten free options available just ask! I’m gluten free and vegan and this place was wonderful. It was like having a ‘50s burger fries and shake but I could eat it! The staff was courteous and understanding and took time to explain the different menu options and assure me that it would be safe for me to eat. My companion had no dietary restrictions but loved the shake and fries more than “traditional” ingredient places. Would recommend to anyone who wants a delicious hearty meal with only goodness for your body and the planet. Love the eco packaging commitment.
Great selection of unique tacos, burritos, and bowls. Vegetarian and gluten-free options. Super fresh ingredients. Went for lunch. Took about 25 minutes to get our orders, which was much longer than expected. I will go back because the food was so good, but I will order online for pick up.

We got all of the appetizers, a few entrees and an extra side for 6 people, it was just the right amount of food and everything tasted great. Our server was especially cautious about the food restrictions (celiac). I also very liked the music choice!
I booked My Loup for a private event. The space was beautiful and warm on a very chilly night outside. The staff was attentive and wonderful. We had a gluten allergy, a shellfish allergy, and a dairy allergy in the group, and everyone was very accommodating to a variety of restrictions. The food was to die for and the drinks were delicious.
Rachel was wonderful to coordinate the event with and she made it so easy! I got many notes from attendees of the event how impressed they were with the restaurant. Don't hesitate to try My Loup for a meal or for a private event!
UPDATE: This time we had the crazy roll, ikura with quail egg on top, and 3 special roll. Very delicious.
They have some gluten and dairy free options. This place is small. Hard to hold a big party. Just a L shaped sushi bar. I forgot to take pictures but I will update next time I come back. This place is amazing. Food is delicious, service is amazing. We had the i Roll, the Princess roll, and yellowtail with jalapeños. This was very yummy and satisfying. I will definitely be back and with pictures next time. Highly recommend.
Beautiful setting. I was really impressed with my gluten free pasta dish. They gave me a large portion and didn't upcharge for the pasta substitution. Can't wait to come back
Amazing flavors, accompaniments, and execution by two chefs at newer place block away from busy Rittenhouse Square. Less wait than places on the square. Mediterranean influences. Octopus, foie gras, duck. Sidewalk seating and upscale euro tavern feel inside. Can eat healthy here, gluten free, low carb, vegetarian. Decent happy hour food choices. Business related to Maj Hotel on Spring Garden which is also was excellent.
Excellent sushi both food and choices. Very fresh and quick. We truly enjoyed the fun rotating food, the iPad order and call for help choices. Gluten free and vegan choices.
Worth a trip and we’ll priced too.
Amazing food, plenty of gluten free options because they use rice flour for most fried dishes. One of the best meals out in Philly we’ve had in a while. Great service as well.
