My all time favorite. I am a regular ! I have a sweet tooth for sure. Love that they have gluten free cake pops & cupcake assortment. Certain macaroons are GF as well! Cake pops, cookies, macaroons & ofc cupcakes are all amazing! Champaign, silver dollar & blueberry lemonade are my top fav cupcakes, but they’re all good. Lavender lattes, espresso martini & Oreo martini are also delicious!! The girls are always welcoming & informative! The tea room & Paris sitting rooms are just too cute & so cozy. I promise you won’t regret it !
I am gluten free and dairy free and I get the cheeseburger pizza every time. It’s so delicious. I always end up eating a few slices in the car. Delivery is a great option too.
This is the only chain where my friend with a gluten allergy has never (knock on wood) had an issue with cross-contamination. No matter which location we have gone to, the food is always good and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend.
The Indian receptionist at our hotel recommended this restaurant and with good reason. Plenty of gluten-free options like Potato Dosa appetiser and lots of vegetarian curries, like the aubergine one I ordered. Brown and pillau rice, and an interesting chickpea bread. Large portions of delicious, slightly spicy food. Very nice Lime Shrimp.
Catering experience- awesome! Our association hosted an event at the local elementary school. We wanted to do a taco bar. Reached out to a bunch of places and things were really costly and could not be customized to meet our needs. Called Tio Mateo’s, immediately got catering information, menu accommodated gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan diets. Pricing was reasonable, service was kind and quick. Best part- everyone loved the food! It was a big hit. Will definitely work with them again!
We went to the Oct 12 Thai cooking class. Our friends came with us for the experience. Jill, our instructor was great. She kept things moving along and we learned a lot of new tricks in cooking. She and the staff were very efficient and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Our friend is gluten free and he loved the variety and the taste of the food. Also, there was plenty so we really felt like we got our monies worth. This has been our second class at Taste Buds and we can’t wait to sign up for more in the future.
Wild Harvest Bakery & Cafe in East Greenwich is a hidden gem.
The place has a clean, cozy feel. Staff greet you like they’ve known you for years.
Everything is fresh. The bread is warm. The pastries are rich but not heavy. The breakfast sandwiches are simple and done right. You can tell they care about ingredients.
Coffee is solid. Smooth, never burnt. Served fast.
They offer gluten-free and vegan options without making a big deal about it. Just good food for everyone.
The vibe is relaxed. Perfect for meeting a friend or sitting with a laptop.
You leave full, not stuffed. And you’ll want to come back.
If you're in East Greenwich, skip the chains. Go here instead.
Meritage is a great place for a drink with the girls or date night. Many gluten free options for me is a win. The staff is always pleasant to be around.
We held our son’s baptism reception at Siena East Greenwich two weeks ago. Everything exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Kim, the events coordinator was receptive from the very start and accommodating to all of our needs including guests with gluten allergies. The atmosphere, service and food was beyond excellent. I would not hesitant to hold another event there!
I have patronized Back to Basics since its inception. Sad to have seen the original owners retire but glad it is still there. Good place for organic produce, gluten-free foods, and supplements.
Really cute eclectic restaurant. Loved the unique outdoor dining experience. Service was a bit slow at first but the servers were super friendly and upbeat. The good was amazing and absolutely delicious. Very reasonable prices for East G and appreciated the gluten-free options for sandwiches. Will definitely return!
Amazing gluten free options! I have celiac disease and it’s hard to find trustworthy places that have good food. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and I have never had any issues which is rare!
Food: The poke here is FRESH FRESH FRESH. Love the tuna and the salmon, not even a hint of fishiness! The toppings are phenomenal and I stack my bowl with most of the toppings. I love mixing the spicy sirachi and hometown hawaiian sauces too for a sweet-spicy kick. I've been on my share of odd diets, and I love how customizable everything is - so you can make a bowel that is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and any other accommodation you need. Also, the bubble tea is delicious! Recently tried it and the boba was soft, chewy, and melts in your mouth. Huge fan of the taro flavor.
Ambiance: This place is bright, airy, clean, and a breath of fresh air to walk into. The decor is sleek and minimal, and I love all the fresh plants.
Service: Staff are sweet and attentive. Food comes out speedy for dine-in, take-out, or delivery!

One of the unique charms of MiMi’s Cafe is its open kitchen concept, where you can catch glimpses of chefs. This transparency adds a sense of authenticity and excitement to the dining experience, as you witness your meal being crafted with care!
It’s a 10/10 for me! Oh and they also have gluten free toast, which is hard to come by at breakfast places!!
Double duck? Double yes!
Love this place! What a wonderful addition to downtown EG. Stopped in for brunch can’t wait to return for lunch and whatever this mystical “Deli after Dark” situation is.
As a person with a gluten allergy, this place is top notch for allergen friendly dining with a family friendly atmosphere.
Came with a large group while traveling for a family wedding. Staff was very accommodating and the local feels were awesome here. It's the type of place where there's something for everyone. They did have some gluten free options (pasta, gluten free buns, etc) which was hard to find on the website. Ample beer selection, and wide variety of solid food items on the menu.
