Living as a gluten-free person in Anderson, SC, there are not many gluten-free options. When I found out that there was a new bakery that sold gluten-free items I was very excited. If you were looking for gluten-free options as well as gluten options hahah this is definitely the place to be at. Staff is super friendly and they are always coming out with amazing products!!
Ordered a total of 5 pizzas and every one of them was awesome π! They have a gluten free crust that was nice and thin and tasted great too! Totally recommend this place to anyone wanting a BYO wood fired pizza.
Husband and I went for dinner and both got the corto 4 course meal. Food was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. Great friendly service, we definitely want to go back to try the 8 course meal!
My daughter has celiacs disease and therefore has never been able to enjoy a visit to an ice cream shop in her 6 years of life. Tragedy for a child. But today she was able to visit these fine people and they were FULLY trained and familiar with her dietary restrictions and for the first time in her life she was fully SEEN!! as a child with a serious allergy to gluten, she has always had to miss out on the sweets that so many of us remember enjoying as children. And today these fine people made all her dreams come true!! Friendly service and knowledgeable staff. We will Def be customers for life!! Now my baby girl can enjoy the same treats as her siblings on a hot summer day!! Thanks to this awesome place! Keep it up!! We will sing your praises in my house!!
Stopped in for the first time with three kids. Every single person was satisfied with their meal. Home cooking at it's best: filling & delicious. Pricing was reasonable. And they have gluten free pizza! We will definitely be back again.
Delicious pizza and pizza bowl. I am gluten intolerant and thus cannot eat regular pizza. Marco's gluten-free pizza is the best I have had.
The pizza bowls are new and I decided to try one. Think lasagna without pasta - Loaded with meat, cheese, and sauce.
The meal was great! I need to eat gluten-free, and they were very willing to accommodate my dietary restriction and were very thorough about researching everything that they gave me....it was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!
We found them on an app for gluten free restaurants. Their gf menu was nonexistent, and they seemed unsure of how to proceed to prevent cross contamination. The food smelled delicious and other patrons looked happy, so I'm marking this low simply because of the food allergy information being untrue. Proceed with caution.
It's a fun, nice place with a good selection of drinks and great sushi choices. The main course, though a special, was a tad overcooked. Still, I'll come back and try other items. The overall experience was terrific.
Wheelchair accessibility is no worry. Vegetarians will be okay. Gluten-free folks will find options, but need to let the staff know at the outset.
Hubby wanted Firehouse for lunch and I am gluten-free so I looked up the website which said they have GF bread now at all US locations. Went inside, they had it on their bread options sign at the counter, but when I asked for it, they said they donβt have it. It wasnβt a βwe are outβ, but βwe do t have Gluten Free.β I definitely understand that not all businesses cater to those with allergen specific needs, but please donβt advertise it if you donβt carry it.
Finally! A real local coffee shop, not just in name alone hand crafted locally sourced goodies, they even have kosher, vegan, gluten free and low/no sugar optionsπ€―. Yes Y'all unheard of in the South, all my Northern expats know what I meanπ
My only problem was some comments I overheard a manager make when I asked about vegan and gluten-free options. Once he realized I heard him, he then offered the gluten-free menu, which basically suggested you leave off the bun. Our server's help and attitude helped make up for her bosses behavior.
(Note: I don't want to avoid dairy and wheat, but for health reasons, I do need to avoid consuming these items.)
I havenβt been to an Outback for at least a decade, and certainly not since being diagnosed with Celiac disease. I was happy to find that they have a dedicated GF menu. Also, even though our server was very new, the experienced server training her was very knowledgeable about Gluten Free needs and took care of me. I enjoyed my meal very much.
A nice alternative to Chipotle. Similar menu, choose your ingredients style. Good drinks. Similar cost but Chipotle serving size was a bit larger. Just did not have chips that were gluten free. There are free kids meal days if that helps.
Probably won't be eating here again. Arrived around 5:40 p.m.. Placed our order of 10 wings, a gluten free pizza, and bread sticks. At 6:45 we still haven't received our food even though people who came in later than us had already gotten their food and almost done eating. So we asked about our food and they told us it would be just a few more minutes that it was in the oven. 15 minutes later they come back saying they lost the ticket and didn't know what we had ordered. So didn't receive any food and of course I have to now wait up to 7 days for a refund. You would do better going to Papa Johns. Disappointed at the service at Guys Pizza at their own mistake and don't plan on going back. They should be embarrassed by their service. 0 stars but Google hasn't put in an option for that with poor customer service.
