They offer a gluten-free menu just to waste your time.
They charge you for the extra bread and half an hour later they tell you that they don't have it, that they can wrap it in lettuce.

The food tasted good going in, not coming out. I'm Celiac and have a gluten allergy. This place has two ratings on 'Find Me Gluten Free' and seemed safe. I ordered the summer roll and watermelon juice. They gave me a different sauce because they weren't sure if the peanut sauce was gluten free. Well something had gluten in it and I vomited it back up a few hours later. First night in Tamarindo ruined.

My girlfriend has celiac disease and clearly communicated the need for gluten-free substitutions. Unfortunately, the server laughed and said “it’s not a real allergy,” which is both incorrect and insensitive.
Later your staff brought her the side of potato claiming it was gluten-free. After she had eaten it, he returned to inform us it actually contained gluten. This is extremely dangerous for someone with celiac, and frankly unacceptable.
Additionally, she was the only one at our table who was repeatedly skipped when water and wine were poured. Whether intentional or not, the pattern was noticeable and felt targeted. We hope you take this seriously and use it as an opportunity to train your staff on how to properly handle dietary restrictions and provide respectful service to all guests.
