A beautiful hotel located on the mountain, with a fantastic view of the city of Merano. We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time. After requesting an upgrade from a garden room to a suite, we were granted this for an additional charge. Both rooms were great; attached are photos of the standard room for the first night and the suite for the following nights. The staff is very friendly. The entire hotel has a very modern and stylish feel. The food is excellent, offering excellent value for money. Gluten-intolerant guests will also find something to suit their needs. A full menu of gluten-free delicacies and gluten-free beer is available. The heated and well-tempered infinity pool offers breathtaking views of the Merano Valley. The two saunas have varying temperatures from 65-95°C. Small refreshments, apples, and teas are available in the wellness area. You can also enjoy the 1-meter-deep unheated rooftop pool on warm summer days. Dogs are allowed and welcome throughout the hotel (except in the wellness area and the rooftop wellness area), as well as in the restaurant. Upon check-in, you'll also receive the South Tyrol Guest Card, which allows you to take the bus to Merano at any time. For those feeling energetic, this journey can also be completed with a 50-minute walk to Merano. Plenty of free parking is available. A charging station for vehicles is also available. The adjacent campsite also makes a great and clean impression. We'll be back, Family K.

A very special café The Pyramid Café and the cake "artist," Ms. Tschurtschenthaler, are an experience. Many homemade cakes and tarts, most of them gluten-free. To make choosing easier, you can order a plate with three half slices. The quality is really good. We liked the mole cake (with banana) best, but the lemon tart was also extremely good. It's fun when Ms. Tschurtschenthaler presents her products in her inimitable way. She has written three truly original baking books with her recipes and anecdotes from the village of Oberwielenbach. Be sure to check them out. We bought a copy. We felt truly at home on the terrace with wonderful summer weather, friendly service, a cheerful manager, and delicious cake!

The best ice cream I've ever eaten in my life. Both the vegan and lactose-free ones are delicious. It's the first time I can choose flavors without falling back on the usual ones with fruit. Special vegan flavors, good and full-bodied. If I were from Trento, I would go there every day. In response to the other reviews complaining about the prices: the quality is excellent, the research and meticulousness they put into producing gluten-free vegan flavors is worth paying for. In my opinion, the prices are in line with all the work and study that goes into each individual flavor. Good job guys, keep it up.

We ordered a normal pizza (good) and a gluten-free one (very good!), attention is paid to contamination in fact it is served on a separate pan. Very kind and helpful staff, only flaw is the volume of the music a little too high inside..but highly recommended for those who want gluten-free pizza (and not) in Ortisei!!

Amazing place! The weather wasn't the best but we had a really good time! The staff were really courteous, kind, attentive... It seemed like we were awaited guests. The grappa lady is truly GORGEOUS! It's those little attentions that make a place special and for which we will always have fond memories. I recommend it wholeheartedly! Space for children ok. Accessibility ok. Gluten free ok.

We had dinner as a couple on Monday 23 December 2024. Already at the booking stage the owner was extremely kind to find a table for two, despite the Christmas period. The quality of the food is high even if the choice is not very wide. The staff who served us was very attentive, quick in bringing the dishes and always on the ball. Able to accommodate us even for my gluten intolerance. Very good!

Very rustic environment with do-it-yourself service. The food is very good and offers many typical dishes, the polenta with sausage is delicious and is also gluten-free. The only flaw is the queue you have to queue, if all goes well 40/50 minutes on average and then the queue to collect the order.

I only had the experience of a lunch on the way back: we ate well, the menu is a bit limited but the dishes are all genuine and home-made (even the pasta is homemade!). Some gluten-free options, excellent carne salada. The only flaw is the service is a bit slow, but the staff is very kind. Not exactly cheap but average prices. A detail that doesn't hurt (and not obvious for a farm): finally some nice and clean bathrooms!!

We sat down waiting for our friends to come in, after 20 minutes, the waitress in her fifties, very rude and impolite, pressured us to sit down with half the room empty, as soon as we sat down they told us that the kitchen was closed, we were slightly annoyed because one of our group was intolerant to flour and gluten, we preferred to leave, she was not happy and commented "I knew it, come in you get hot and you don't consume anything" in a very arrogant way, terrible experience, I strongly advise against it
