I've not visited The Black Rabbit for a long time, and this was my first time dining. The customer service was friendly and professional, from the bar staff who seated us to our brilliant waiter, Sam. She took time to answer our questions and asked us about allergies and preferences. Lots of plant-based options and a gluten-free menu was provided for my sister. All very tasty, but the service really stood out. Thanks very much to Sam and everyone at The Black Rabbit. The staff were all very friendly and the landlord especially was exceptionally helpful. We were admittedly quite awkward on our dietary requirements (between us we wanted vegan, gluten free and I also have a celery allergy) and they catered for all of it superbly. The chef was consulted about what contained celery and there were still plenty of options for me to enjoy - a near miracle! The food was hands down the best “pub” food I’ve ever had. The views from the garden room looked gorgeous, although we did choose to sit in the cosier rear of the bar area. I will 100% be returning.

Just had brunch here and there is a great atmosphere. Lovely seats by the window overlooking the town and the food is 10/10. Had the avo on toast which had a delicious tomato salsa with it and a bit of a kick. One of the best I've had and my other half had the Moroccan eggs which were also sensational, and available gluten free too. An absolute must for brunch
