I had a fantastic experience at Big Potato Company! As someone who needs to eat gluten-free, I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and accommodating the staff were. They took the time to walk me through the menu, answered all my questions about ingredients, and made sure my meal was safe and delicious. We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night, early around 5:30ish. The restaurant was not very packed. Our server was quick, efficient and very knowledgeable. My husband immediately notified her that he had celiac disease and she said this is the place for you then because they have a designated fryer for gluten-free. We tried the JFC appetizer plate which stands for Japanese fried chicken. It was delicious, but it's huge! We both had build your own Ramen bowls, and it was very tasty. All in all a very good experience I would recommend it.

An amazing dining experience! Dinner with my friends while traveling for work. I had amazing oysters from PEI and the smoked fish dip is next level good. My friend got the pork belly appetizer and loved it. I am gluten intolerant and I had plenty of options and modifications were made available. We all had fish, from Mahi to flounder and everyone was happy. Our server Jonathan was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The bar had good options and my French 75 was well balanced and tasty. Spendy,but worth the splurge. I highly recommend this place!

One of the better places to eat on Dauphin Island. Expect a wait but the view is beautiful. The food and drinks are pretty decent with good sized portions. We’ve been here several times over the years and the service is always good. I wish there were better vegan options. But there are a small handful of gluten free options.

The employees are knowledgeable about the store and where to find things. They have a nice selection of gluten free products and vegan products. But they also have lots of meat, dairy, and bakery options too. The Hope Tree wine is very good and very reasonably priced.

The food was wonderful for me and my wife but the best part was our server Justin! We ordered the Rosada Whipped Feta appetizer and since my wife has Celiac's we are usually careful about what we get but we missed the fried jalapenos part and had to get a new appetizer and Justin was incredibly sweet and accommodating. For the rest of the night he made sure to check in with all the food and make sure everything was perfect, absolutely amazing experience and we will continue to come back!

We really love this place and the stylish cafe-like ambience. We eat there pretty often and the food is great - from the appetizers to the desserts, we tried almost all they have to offer and they do not disappoint. Their pita bread comes in a gluten free version too which is very tasty and goes wonderfully with their delicious babaganoush. We crave their food pretty often and their service is great! Whatever spices they use on the grilled chicken are amazing! We will definitely return!

Our family’s go-to pizza spot never disappoints! The Meat Lovers pizza is loaded with flavor and piled high with all the right toppings—definitely a must-try for anyone who loves a hearty slice. This is one of my favorite Thai places (and the one I go to the most in the area) They have the best Khao Soi in town! They are also accommodating to my wife’s celiac disease (gluten allergy) and are able to make quite a few things gluten free (curry, drunken noodles, garlic shrimp, etc.) Their lunch specials are also super affordable! Glad to have this place less than 10 minutes from our house!

Love it here! Jessie and Zee were amazing and full of patience, sincerity and hospitality. Glad Jessie the Mgr explained to me to stay away from one type of tortilla as it has butter as I am vegan and told me to stay away from caramel flavor in coffee bc of dairy. I def want to come back and love them. Most importantly, these folks here take time to help and not negligent by being very clear of all food allergies and differences between vegan, vegetarian, gluten, etc. Other places better have informed friendly staff as them to prevent lawsuits tied with food allergies.

This is a great restaurant for fresh locally caught seafood. I had a delicious (and gluten free) sea scallops dish with spinach and peach risotto and a lemon beurre blanc sauce. This is a must try restaurant if you are in the area!

Wow. You NEED to stop in and get a bagel here! My husband and I popped in for the first time this morning and we will DEFINITELY be back soon. I had the Lox and Loaded Sammie and my husband had a toasted everything with cream cheese. We both ate all of ours, but were stuffed because these bagels are huge and delicious! You could probably share one, but I don’t recommend it because you might want to be a gluten and finish yours yourself or save it for later. 🙌 🥯
