Ripe is our favorite restaurant! The food is always prepared fresh and you can tell they put all the care into sourcing fresh ingredients and preparing everything from scratch--a true "slow food" philosophy and experience (look it up, it's a whole movement countering fast food and hyper processed junk). You feel like you are eating real food, prepared lovingly and with the utmost care. And that is to say nothing of the service! Everyone at ripe is kind, attentive, and always seeking to make every patron's experience the best! Emilio, chef and owner, is always present, tending to every detail of the operation, and interacting with guests! That is to say nothing of their accommodations for allergies! Did I mention Ripe is 100% gluten free?? For customers with a gluten intolerance, you can eat and rest assured that everything you consume will be fresh, healthy, and wholesome. If I could give Ripe ten stars, I would! Highly recommend!

The restaurant was very cute and lovely. The service was ok. Our server did the right thing when it came to it. He was not part of the problem. However, we were asked if it was ok to “squeeze” at the table. However for 5 people the table felt like it was meant for only 2. We accepted because we were looking forward to dinner, but was very dissatisfied going forward. We had a gluten free pizza and it was undercooked or bottom line not good. I’ve hat gluten free options before but this was by far the worst. On top of that the hostess heard us joking around about the squeezed table. She talked about us and we heard which was exceptionally rude. I was really hoping to love this place but felt uncomfortable by the end of the experience. On a positive note to close out the Caesar salad was fantastic. Anything else you order might be mid.

Here on vacation from NY and I would literally drive from NY just to get the gluten free chicken tenders. Ive been gluten free for 3 years and this was by far the best gluten free meal I have had since. And it doesn't end at the food.. the owner was great! My kids loved how outgoing and and engaging he was. All around 10/10 experience and im picky!

Normally, I go all out on my reviews, but I wasn’t very impressed with this place. I’m only taking away one Star though because I only ordered a California roll and dumplings and they were okay, and I just want to say that the customer service was not the best. We specifically went to this restaurant because we heard good reviews from people who are allergic to gluten and only one person seem to really care about my friends, gluten allergy, they didn’t try to offer her what she could Eat rather than just tell her everything she was asking for she couldn’t eat, because it contained gluten. The main reason why we went there was because of the good reviews on what we’ve heard and got the opposite. The place is still vibe, but the customer service was a little weird. And, like I said, I normally go all out on my reviews and post more, especially videos and feature them on my page but this place was not giving at least not when we went, but it might for other people.
