One of my absolute favourite to go places for breakfast/lunch! I tried almost everything on the menu and quality of food is excellent! Everyone can find something, they have vegan and gluten free options too. But for me, Huevos Rancheros, Summer Cod, Cobb Salad and peach pie are top choices! New location in Arlington also has a big garage parking and easy access as well.

Visiting from NYC. A great vegetarian/vegan/gluten free option place. It’s a Black owned business that promotes books and creative arts. We started off with Brussel sprouts with Balsamic vinaigrette. It was hot and had a good taste. The latte (not pictured) was very flavorful. Gluten free pancakes had a buttermilk flavor to them but a little stiff. I had the Sweet Potato hash and it was ok, a little stiff bland for me. I would recommend this place and come back on my visit.

I had dinner at True Food and it was excellent. Lots of menu variety for gluten free and vegan individuals. Our meatloaf (non gluten free) and burger were tasty, prepared exactly the way we requested. The service and ambience was outstanding. When you go, ask for Fernanda to be your waitress. She’s very customer oriented and kind. Emerson the Manager brought out our food and was very professional and helpful. True Food is a great place to eat!

We love sushi and chose this place based on the reviews we read. Initially, we sat inside, but we requested to move outside because it was too loud. Although it was a bit dark and hot, we still enjoyed our meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was excellent; they accommodated all the changes we requested for our meals. Cannot speak more highly of Mejana. Ordered from them for my office’s staff lunch and there were options for everyone: vegetarian, gluten free, and meat. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Staff is incredibly kind. Ordered from Grubhub for delivery, delivery was never confirmed by the 3rd party service, called the restaurant and they immediately said, “no worries, we will get to cooking and wait for the order to come in and call you when the order comes through and if a driver was assigned.” Mind you, this was Grubhub’s fault, not the restaurant! The hostess asked me to text them my order and texted me when it was ready since Grubhub wasn’t communicating with me. You can’t beat this kind of customer service. Love supporting this local, small-biz!

One of my favorite go to spots, most of their dishes are tasty, you can’t go wrong. They have gluten free options, just make sure you tell them. The service is friendly and fast. I typically get the chicken or shrimp pad Thai which are solid choices. The shrimps are large and fresh. I’ve also eaten the green and Penang curry as well as their drunken noodle and pineapple fried rice. I order take out more but the handful of times I’ve gone in the restaurant it has been clean and fast service.
