We went here on a Monday, group of 12 for my birthday. Was able to reserve a table same day! Food was great and not a single scrap was left over. I got the filet with Mac & cheese and potato pancake. All was amazing. We also ordered the pimento cheese appetiser and the bread. Would recommend both. Everyone was very happy with their meals and service was great. They were even able to accommodate for a gluten-free vegetarian. The atmosphere was an old house converted to a restaurant.

When I travel I look up the 10 best cheap eats and all locally owned restaurants. I found 300 East on places you have to try in Charlotte NC. I made a reservation for 6pm. We where seated in the requested table and our server was Jacob. Everything on the menu looked scrumptious however we asked Jacob for his recommendations and we ordered the Vermont goat cheese , sweet potato ravioli and two onion soups. Every item was absolutely delicious! The service was impeccable and the price was very reasonable. Before we left Charlotte I heard from natives how much they loved 300 East and I recommended the restaurant to two other couples. I will want to eat here whenever I return to try other items on their menu. Oh we also had their chi cookie with coffee ice cream and caramel glaze. It was also gluten free. I can't say enough about this place. I want one where I live. Charleston SC. Great culinary experience. We will return.
