Absolutely unbelievable. I come from a family of Jewish deli owners so we are very picky. That being said, the portions are HUGE! Prices are beyond fair and the food is delicious. I wish I had taken pictures but before I knew it all the food was gone. They are also very good about food allergies. I am severely gluten intolerant and our server Judith was very knowledgeable. She knew what to tell me to avoid and made appropriate suggestions. She really was a lifesaver for me. Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend the dinner specials. Pastrami was excellent and the chicken soup could cure any beast of a cold. Desserts are also very good. We went twice in 3 days. HOWEVER! One exception. We went to buy a few things at the counter before we left and my husband was standing there for a good few minutes with no one coming to help us. Apparently there was only one woman who could ring us up and she was somewhere in the back where nobody could find her. As we were walking out she reappeared with such a horrible attitude toward us that we walked out leaving everything on the counter and a few packages of gluten free bagels that I was planning on taking.. I don’t know her name but she was a real joy, brunette with a short ponytail and a scowl on her face. They should fire her. Everyone else who works there is wonderful but this one was yelling at us for being impatient. Cost the restaurant about 100 bucks they could have made.

I am soooo excited to have finally found a Jewish-style deli with gluten free options! Although the items aren’t marked on the menu, the manager and an angel name Keri both assisted me in navigating the Rosh Hashanah holiday menu. I couldn’t believe how many options there were for me, including: sliced brisket with au jus gravy, roasted chicken, sliced roasted turkey breast, stuffed cabbage rolls, chopped chicken liver, and flourless chocolate cake! This means I can finally get food catered for Jewish holidays, when needed, and I can actually dine in a deli again! Can you tell I’m excited??
