Abbondanza Italian Restaurant

Went here specifically for its GF offering. Service was very poor but the food was great. Once we managed to get seated and got both menus we were offered some fresh bread but though we’d ordered Gluten Free pasta, when asked, the waitress said no, its not GF, we don’t have GF bread, ok why offer it to us then (here’s something you can’t eat). My food was brought and the pasta was cold so had to send it back, my wife’s food was brought but was the wrong dish, the waitress even said we don’t have a pasta dish with Italian sausage in but when we showed her the menu she apologised as they did. So now I have hot food my wife has no food, so rather than have them make mine a third time I ate my food and I was 90% finished by the time my wife’s food arrived. So manage expectations on service and you’ll be happy. Disappointing that they didn’t offer a coffee of something by way of an apology for a poor dining experience.
