Looking for quality Ethiopian in DC? This is the place. I’m so glad I accidentally stumbled upon Abuare a couple years ago. I return time and time again. This place is gold. Plenty of options to appetize every palate. If you’re gluten free, you can ask for injera made from teff. If you’re vegetarian, plenty of options. If you’re a meat lover, tibs aplenty. My personal favorites are the beets, any of the marinated tibs and lentils. Oh, and don’t forget to enjoy some honey wine with the meal. Give this wonderful restaurant a try. You won’t regret it.
