Was a great place to go!! Wife has celiac so gluten free is absolute. They boil the noodles separately. She got the tonkatsu, only small complaint is she wanted it a little more spicy. The atmosphere was great. Parking is easy to get. The cold brew is great also with the Ube foam.

The yuzu ramen is incredibly refreshing — a rare style in Houston — and I highly recommend it to ramen enthusiasts looking to try something different. The Basque cheesecake for dessert is absolutely outstanding; it impressed me so much that I’ve even ordered it on its own for delivery. One puzzling aspect, however, is their handling of gluten-free noodles. Although the restaurant advertises the option to substitute GF noodles, they admitted upon inquiry that both regular and GF noodles are cooked in the same pot of water. This guarantees cross-contamination, which is a serious concern for anyone with a gluten allergy. It’s hard to understand why they would go through the trouble of offering GF noodles without taking the proper precautions to cook them separately.
