Agora Tysons Mediterranean Restaurant

This is my go-to whenever I have family in town. Great vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options, staff are attentive and polite, food is delicious. Some of the dishes take time but it’s worth the wait! I recommend the taramosalata, the scallops and the pistachio soufflé.

If you’re going for just the atmosphere and drinks agora is nice. I went with a friend for my birthday and specified in my reservation (per THEIR prompts) that someone had celiacs and it turns out they don’t even read the reservation because the waiter was unaware and most things were not celiac safe despite most of their menu being marked gluten free. The food was fine, not great. We had a misunderstanding with our waiter which did end in a complimentary drink for us which was a good gesture. The kicker is I was charged twice on my card, once for the full meal including tip, and once for the pre tip amount. Nobody at this location would answer so I had to call the DC location where I was told the pending charge for the pre tip amount should go away by Tuesday (didn’t stop that money from not being available in my bank account though) skip agora and try somewhere else

Accommodating and good atmosphere! The staff was knowledgeable and provided substitutes for menu item so that we felt comfortable.
