I went there two weeks ago and just had to say how wonderful they are when you ask for Gluten Free. They seem very aware of cross contamination issues. At some sushi bars I've noticed they use the same rag to wipe down the area where they slice - which of course gets contaminated the first time they use tempura. I didn't see that happen here. Also the fish was so fresh, it had a different flavor. It's really hard to get that amazing sweet flavor from anything but extremely fresh fish. I got a double roll of nori-wrapped tuna sushi. Next time I'll be a bit more adventurous. But just getting this far is awesome. They didn't slip up on the soy sauce either, it was GF also. In fact they told me they had GF soy sauce, I didn't even need to ask. Once I said GF, they were on top of it. Can I give more than 5 stars? :) Thank you so much, Akashi.
