Alfie's Fish & Chips

Came here for lunch today and had the best experiance ever , the fish was cooked lovely and fresh , the chips where amazing crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. My friend was gluten free and we was surprised on how many gluten free options they do . They also do gluten free ketchup , mayonnaise, tar tar sauce and vinger !!!! The service was fast and the girls was lovely making sure we get exactly what we wanted and explained everything in detail to us about the food and gluten free sauces So if you are ever in southend on sea looking for the best stop for a deliciouse fish and chips come to alfies fish and chips and you will not be dissapointed

Gluten free! Great cod and crispy batter. Best I've had. Also provide gluten free, ketchup, mayo, vinegar and tartar sauce. Friendly service, located directly opposite the pier. Would go again

Service spot on, server was very nice and polite. Had gluten free haddock and chips... massive portion, had to take half of it away. It was delicious not just for gluten free, it was he just plain delicious, even the vinager was GF. Next time I'm in Southend we I'll definitely be back
