Great place. Really good food that tastes amazing. Love the lunches and tropical smoothie. Great coffee too. Lots of gluten free options. Really friendly staff. Definitely the best place in Middlesbrough for lunch and a coffee stop.

the food has literally changed my life!!!! I have so many issues with digestion and gluten intolerance it's so hard to find anything I can eat - and then anything I can eat that's actually nice and not ultra processed/unhealthy! I'm full all of the time don't wanna snack, energy! My digestive system is working again! My sleep quality has improved so much it's amazing. It just goes to show you are what you eat 😍 I have eaten in the restaurant several times and always absolutely loved it my favourite dish being the coconut and mango curry! I've since moved away and I use the meal prep service for my meals every day. I now look forward to eating food again without worrying I'll be poorly. Thank you Luke and everyone at Alkaline kitchen for healing me and allowing me to enjoy food again ❤️
