They helped me build a meal that was gluten and dairy free, and it was delicious. The ribs and their sauce were amazing. The jacket potato and peas were cooked perfectly. Thanks!

GLUTEN FREE EATERS!!
Went in today for a gluten free toastie. I received an extremely small toastie, wasn’t even equivalent to half the size of a toastie using ‘normal’ bread as the people I was with payed the same price for a normal one and was more than twice the size. Spoke to a waiter and was told they were using ‘temporary’ gluten free bread until they get their usual back in. I asked if I could have another one or an alternative as I payed £5:50 and it was not filling. He then said he’d speak to his manager. A waitress who had red coloured hair. Came over and said it nothing they can do as it’s just the bread they used I then explained how the other waiter said it was just temporary bread and the one they usually use is of average size. She ignored this and continued to tell me that gluten free bread only comes in that size. Which I said as a gluten intolerant individual that this is not true as I have bought bread that is a lot bigger than this. She proceeded to say that she recommends people to NOT get the gluten free bread and said that the girl who took my order should have advised me not to get it. Which I find very unprofessional and clearly issues regarding the bread is shared amongst the staff as well as the customer. No alternative or refund was issued and she seemed to simply not care and I felt discriminated due to my intolerance. She told me again there’s nothing she can do and proceeded to walk away. I will not be returning as I left feeling upset and treated differently due to my intolerance. I had to go to a shop and find something to eat as I was left hungry

Ate here twice recently. Very friendly and offer an excellent selection of gluten free food, including dessert. Great place to bring small or large groups, good for working lunch or a quick meal with a friend. Parking is limited in the surrounding streets but there is a large car park across the road that is free for people shopping in Linthorpe Village.

My daughter and I visited yesterday and were very impressed with the food and the service. My daughter is coeliac and was given a wide choice of gluten free options. She chose pepperoni pizza and chips while I had fish and chips, both were delicious. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in the area

Went for dinner on christmas eve. The dinner was quite expensive for what it was. Literally 2 potatoes on the plate with the meat. No veg, nothing else other than in the gravy. Starter was decent. Honestly won't be bothering again. Food is going massively downhill. Last time we came i seen them getting lots of peoples orders wrong, I heard lots of people complaining and sending their food back. Someone ordered prawns that we're still partially frozen on their plate. They got a refund for the meal but is that realistically good enough compensation considering the potential outcomes? Had around 3 people come over to our table asking us the same question so communication between staff clearly isn't there. Couple of staff members are really good and one lady was exceptional when it came to service as one member of our group has coeliac.
Place has potential but it needs work.
