Alpino Detroit

Absolute fantastic experience. Patrick our server was extraordinary. The salad to main dish to dessert. Excellent and on par and exceeded our expectations even with gluten allergy. Thank you. Everything was thoughtful, wine selection was wonderful, desserts….. amazing. I would put the visit here as one of my top ten food experiences. We will be back when in Detroit.

There were two standout parts of my experience at Alpino: first and foremost, the excellent service and second, the patio ambiance. Our server was lovely and accommodating of my friend’s need for gluten-free dining. She even split our single order of fondue into two smaller pots so that I, a gluten-enthusiast, could still have bread. She also never rushed us and that’s a rare things these days. The patio was perfect. Secluded and relaxing. While I enjoyed the food, it’s not ultimately the reason I would return— more for the experience.

The food was delicious and most plates were large enough to be shareable if you wanted to do family style dining while still being a good dinner sized portion for one person. Dishes were easily customized for a gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan experience.
