Avoid if you need gluten-free options or have celiac disease. We specifically asked if the ice cream was gluten-free and were told yes, so we queued and waited as it was busy. However, we noticed staff repeatedly cross-contaminating and double-dipping in the display ice creams. As originally agreed when we first enquired, we asked if a fresh flavor from the back could be provided for our daughter to avoid contamination, but they refused, insisting that the ice creams were fine and that they have a designated spot in the tub for dipping for celiacs. I've never heard such nonsense, and they argued for a full minute. The tube was used by 6 staff members and there wasn’t a clean fresh spot left. Their lack of understanding around allergies or care was not only disappointing but potentially dangerous. For the rest of us, the ice cream tasted great, but it was a ruined experience. My 7-year-old daughter was heartbroken and cried when we couldn't let her have any, even though we already had ours. Unfair.
