Ampersea

Two friends and I came to enjoy the outdoor seating and celebrate a birthday. I love that happy hour was not restricted to the bar area. One of my friends has a gluten allergy and was excited that the lobster bites are made with gluten free flour. I also enjoyed my lobster roll. Note, it is not a mayonnaise based lobster roll. The manager Joey was friendly, went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience, and helped us capture a few memorable photos. We will be back!

Went to Ampersea to celebrate my birthday and the overall experience was wonderful. One of the managers, Joey, greeted us warmly and was very inviting. The food was delicious. Would recommend the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and the fries were some of the best I’ve had. So crispy but also perfectly cooked. Wilson, our server, was accommodating of my partners gluten sensitivity and ensured his meal would be safe. Thank you Ampersea for making my birthday one to remember.

When we first got there we were welcomed in enthusiastically by Joey, one of the managers, who told us if we needed anything to just ask him. Later on we had a waiter who was very accommodating to my dietary needs, he went back to the chefs and double checked what items on the menu were gluten-free and which weren't. Overall it was a great experience, with a lovely atmosphere right on the water.
