Amy's Italian Restaurant

Of all the options in the city, 5 stars or otherwise, this is THE Italian place to go. Everything from scratch, delicious gluten-free options, including pizza, and tomato sauce that actually tastes like tomatoes, not sugar. Date night or just out with the gals/guys, this is the place.

My girlfriend recently got diagnosed with a condition that inflicts upon her a very very restrictive diet. It is unbelievably hard to find a restaurant that will have vegetable or gluten-free options, let alone good ones, or better yet both! Amy's is perfect for us. I love all the traditional Italian foods, normally I get The Works or the Chicken alla Panna. They do not miss. My girlfriend got the GreeK Salad with the grilled salmon. We've eaten every pizza they offer too without a hint of regret. Not in one sitting, despite my wishes. This evening Gracie helped us and she's also fantastic, as the staff have always been to us. Oh and Amy's is also really comfortable. Love what you all are doing, thank you for all the work and effort you put into this gem of a restaurant.

Tried Amy's a couple of days ago and I was impressed. When we first entered, I wasn't sure as the atmosphere is kinda bland. This could be a work in progress. But... the employees greeted us promptly and in a friendly manner. The menu offers several selections and they all sounded great. They also offer gluten-free pasta, just request it if that's what you desire. The hubby ordered Alfredo with chicken and I ordered the Diablo (very spicy) pasta with chicken. They were both great. The bread was also good! The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. There is a full bar but we did not order any bar service. Can't wait to go back and try something else!
