Angelo's Italian Market

Angelo's Italian market has the best pasta and sauce I've ever tasted. And it's all homemade by dad and his son. I feel like I can eat this pasta and not feel gluten sensitive.

This place has handmade fresh pasta made in house (just durum wheat and water), a variety of fantastic handmade sauces, delicious focaccia bread, a small selection of Volpi meats, sandwiches, and (my favorite!) lemon soda. Let me tell you, the smell of the fresh pasta brought me right back to my grandma's kitchen. The bread was so soft and flavorful I wish I would have gotten a couple. The owners are friendly and very informative. I can't wait to come back and see what else they offer. You can also get some ice cream there from a local vendor who collaborates with several local Indy businesses on custom flavors. When I was there they had lemon meringue pie (collab with Hotel Tango), puppy chow stout (collab with Metazoa), spumoni (collab with Angelo's Market), cookie milk, mint chocolate, and key lime pie. They all looked great. They also import gluten free pasta from Italy for people with special dietary needs.
