Annabella's Bakery & Cafe

I’ve lived in bowdoinham for 6 years and driven by hundreds of times. My wife and I wanted to grab a bite and I said hey, let’s try Annabella’s! I had the steak and cheese special and my wife had the tarragon chicken salad on gluten free bread. I have eaten a lot of steak and cheeses in my day (including Pats and Gino’s in Philly) and I gotta say, this was probably the best one I’ve ever had. And the homemade bread it was on was flaky, buttery, and crunchy, so delicious it almost (almost) over powered the steak. Our waitress was great and when she came to ask how I liked the sandwich she genuinely wanted to know. I got the vibe she may have been the owner but I’m not sure. We will most definitely be going back and I will be hard pressed to drive by again without stopping in. We don’t eat out much so thank you for making it well worth it!
