Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

First visit everything seemed good, food and service. Second, visit something made me ill. Third visit, it took nearly 15-minutes to be acknowleged and seated only to learn they were out of the gluten-free pizza crust. It seems as though the day of the week, time of day and phase of the moon may play a role in the range of experiences that one may receive? The restrooms could use some attention... 🤷‍♂️

I'm really bummed. I eat ACFP in McMurray all the time, to the point where I crave their pizza specifically! Being wheat-free, it's one of the best options for a gluten friendly crust. Figuring I was going to be near the Robinson location, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab my favorite pizza. But I wish I had, unfortunately. Their crust is COMPLETELY different from the McMurray location. It was thin, floppy, and plain...a MAJOR disappointment. Especially for the cost at over $50 for two pizzas. I purchased another pizza with my order (just a regular pizza), which also had a different crust from the McMurray location as well. Very odd. The only thing I can think of is that the restaurant seemed to be having some sort of maintenance issue as they were closed for dine-in, and maybe that's where the difference came from. But I'm majorly disappointed and had I known it would affect the quality of order, I wouldn't have gone. Edit: ACFP reached out to me within days of posting the above review and are offering to remake my order. The air conditioning unit was broken during my visit, causing the pizza doughs to rise and bake/cook differently than they're used to. I will update my post once I've received the new pizza and compare.
