Antico Posto

We have been here a few times and had a nice time. My only complaint was that last time they provided me a Gluten Free roll In a plastic bag, but it was moldy. I do appreciate that they had an option for me, however. They have a great selection of foods and drinks and the atmosphere is upbeat and cozy.

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by our experience at Antico Posto. As someone who requires a gluten free diet due to Celiac disease, I have never felt more comfortable during a dining experience. Our server, Tracy, immediately took note of my restriction and provided me with a gluten free menu that had more options than I’d ever expect. Tracy was very knowledgeable on gluten free options, and she even checked to see if the house made limoncello was safe for me- and it was! All of my dishes came out with an “allergy” flag, which is highly appreciated. My gluten free entree was even brought out by a manager which was attention to detail that I had never experienced before. The food was phenomenal, and tasted even better paired with peace of mind. We started off with the beet and avocado salad for an appetizer which was so good. For entrees we ordered bolognese and spicy vodka rigatoni. Everything was so flavorful, we savored every bite. It truly was the perfect dinner paired with a beautiful evening outside on their adorable patio. If you are someone with dietary restrictions or food allergies, you will be in good hands here. Thank you again to Tracy and the kitchen staff for taking wonderful care of us.

Great hidden restaurant inside Oak Brook mall. The staff is very friendly, the waiter is extremely knowledgeable and your water glass will never be empty. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is on the smaller size. When the weather is nice, there is a cute patio area. The food is delicious, you can't go wrong with anything you order. The menu is not large but has something for everyone. The restaurant will accommodate gluten-free requests. This is especially nice since it is an Italian restaurant, which in my experience is less likely to accommodate at other Italian restaurants I've visited. Our table had the pistachio crusted whitefish. It was a large portion cooked to perfection and full. of flavor. I highly recommend this dish. It was served with mashed potatoes and spinach. It was so filling that I was able to take half of it home for lunch the next day. Our appetizers were the brussel sprouts and turkey meatballs. Both were excellent. They have a vast wine selection and mixed drinks to choose from as well as a different house made gelato of the day. The parking is a bit challenging since the restaurant is located in the mall. There is a large parking garage nearby, and the restaurant does offer valet parking. We will definitely be returning to dine here again real soon.
